You snuck along the ship easily as the horns blared. Moving right behind Neteyam, Lo'ak spotted a beam you could all use to get over to the other side. Lo'ak slung his gun over his shoulder while you saved yours along the waistline of your loincloth next to your knife. "Come on, let's go." You looked over at Lo'ak annoyed, this was already getting really stressful and with the alarms ringing in your ears it was harder to focus. "Don't let me slow you down, I'll catch up." Neteyam stopped Lo'ak with a hand on his shoulder. "No, we stick together." Lo'ak stood still as you double-checked to make sure the safety was off and that it wouldn't fall off in the climb. "Okay, I'm all set." Lo'ak climbed up instantly from your go-ahead.
Netetyam watched as his brother went up, now giving room for the next person to go. "Go, I'll hold up the rear." You went next, putting your hands and feet exactly where Lo'ak had put his. Although it wasn't the best idea as some parts seemed very unstable. After a while, you stuck to your own way and just moved how you wanted. Lo'ak then paused, getting ready to climb upside down, this was going to be hard. If this had been any other day and a peaceful scenario you would've made a jab at him for being scared. But it wasn't a different scenario, this was a dangerous environment and you could all be killed at any given moment. Not even you had your father to stop Quaritch anymore. Lo'ak moved onto the beam and you were up next to prepare to go.
Your check went faster as you had already made sure your gun and knife were secure. You crawled onto the beam, slowly making your way. Before you had been hidden well and the humans hadn't had the time to spot you due to evacuating. "Move, move people! Come on!" This rise in voice spooked Neteyam, causing you to give him more of your attention right now. He must be on edge, you were too, this was risky. Again, you had no one to come and save you. Neteyam looked over toward you as he moved along the beam, you both gave each other a strong look before focusing back on the task. Although your focus only lasted for a few seconds. You hadn't had any time to process what had happened when you were cuffed and your adrenaline had slowed down quite a bit since Neteyam arrived. So now your brain decided it would be a great time to question as to why your father wanted you here.
You tried everything to stop thinking about it and your best fact was it didn't matter anymore. He would be fine even if the ship collapsed, you gave him a life jacket and gave him two masks, he would be fine. But your grip was losing its strength the more you thought that. The back of your mind knew that it could be enough but it also might never be. He might just get lost at sea and run out of air, or if the ship capsizes funny he could get pulled under, or maybe he might wake up and stumble across a Na'vi clan that will want him dead and kill him right there. You moved off the beam and kept following Lo'ak, your mind racing through any scenario no matter how ridiculous about how his death could go.
But in the end, it didn't matter, you couldn't go back for him. Not now, right now you have to be more focused on saving Spider. The man who got caught because you couldn't make up your mind any faster. Lo'ak rounded the pillar you were all on a platform. You caught your breath for a moment when Neteyam landed beside you and pointed to your right. You looked over between the gaps and saw people walking. Neteyam took out his knife first and started creeping along with them. Lo'ak followed after making you bring up the rear now. "Hurry up guys." They were all wearing life vests and you could now see the guy you were looking for. "You want to go down with the ship?" Neteyam stopped at the corner of the platform and Lo'ak moved next to him. You brought your knife out and stayed behind, watching as Neteyam held his knife up.
Neteyam then jumped down pushing one guy first before barely wrestling another one. You'd forgotten how much stronger Na'vi were than humans. Lo'ak jumped down next using his gun to hit two of the other guys. Throwing one overboard, you jumped down next to Spider. You moved to join and throw another one overboard as the guy next to you ripped off another guy's mask and punched him. You were slightly surprised that he'd just killed a man but you just kept throwing guys over the rail. Essentially you were doing the same thing, you just weren't seeing the result of your attack. You jumped hearing gunshots so close to you, you became scared of what had happened. Only to see Lo'ak had just killed a man by firing off a couple of rounds.
