It's been like, over a year since I published a new chapter for this book, which is literally wild to me. I started writing when I was a baby high schooler and its been quite a few years since then. To be honest with you all, I hate the way I've written this book, although I do love the story. For the past year I've been trying to re-write a better version for you all while also focusing on college, my part-time job, and other stories I've been writing but I'm genuinely stumped on all fronts. I haven't even been able to paint or do any photoshoots with my friends (I like to think of myself as a multitalented artist). My creativity has run dry, and as disappointing as it is, I won't give up.
I have so many plans for this book and this series, but I need to continue with this hiatus in order to get my thoughts aligned and my creativity flowing again. I can't say how long it will take, but I hope you will be understanding and patient with me as I work through this. I hold this book very close to my heart, but unfortunately it no longer meets my expectations. I will continue to work on this when inspiration strikes, but for now, I'm going to leave this unfinished.
Over the past year I have learned so much about myself. I still have a lot more to learn. I'm on the precipice of complete independence and have sowly been learning more and more about life as I go through college. I've discovered new music and made new friends (hello armies 💜). I've lost friends, I've traveled, I've tried new foods. So much has changed in my life and I need this time for myself to make sense of it all.
