"No offense Perce, but I was kinda hoping to have the help of someone who can use mist. How the Hades are you planning on getting in?" Leo said, hurrying to keep up with me. I tried not to snort at Leo's obliviousness to my abilities with mist, "Are you going to use your cop skills?" Leo continued.

"I don't need to." I said as I shook my head, "you said it was at Gotham gymnastics centre, right?"

"Yep," Leo said, as I slipped into the drivers seat of my car "wait, this is your car?"

"Yeah." I say, gesturing to the passenger seat of the blue sports car, "get in."

———
I pulled up at Gotham Gymnastics centre, grinning up at the imposing building.

"Let's go." I said, sliding out of the car,

"Perce! Wait, you can't just walk in." Leo called after me, I turned and gave him a grin,

"Watch me." I strode into the building, "Hi, I'm here to use the trapeze." The receptionist glanced up and her eyes widened,

"Mr Grayson!" The receptionist called in surprise, "The Centre is closed today for the competition, hadn't you heard?" I nodded, looking behind me to see Leo still marveling at my car outside,

"I really need to use the trapeze... Sofie." I said, reading off her nametag, "I won't get in the way of the competitors and..." Leo came up to stand behind me, I leaned in close, "I'm sure my father wouldn't mind paying some compensation to the centre." Sofie's eyes widened and she nodded,

"But if any of the competitors come to practice-"

"I promise I'll move for them, Thanks so much Sofie!" I said with a trademark Dick Grayson grin and walked off down the hallway, Leo hurrying behind me.

---

"How the Hades did you manage that, Perce?" Leo asked when I finally slowed down for him to catch up,

"I have a membership here." I said casually, Leo snorted,

"You? Have a membership at a gymnastics centre?" I gave Leo a wolf glare,

"What's wrong with that?" I asked,

"Just... didn't think you were the type..." Leo said nervously and I shrugged,

"well I am." I replied as we entered the trapeze room. I grinned, I've lived in many places over my life, some less savoury than others, but nowhere has felt more like home than on a trapeze. For a son of Poseidon, I sure do like the feeling of flying. "I'm going to go on up, there's some seats over there if you wanna watch." I said, still grinning up at the trapeze.

"You sure you know what you're doing?" Leo asked unsurely, I nodded,

"Trust me, Leo, I don't even need the net." I said confidently, Leo looked unconvinced but nodded, going to sit in one of the chairs. I took a deep breath and climbed up onto the platform.

I started simple, swinging with a few flips, but I wanted to push myself, I wanted to do the quadruple flip that my family was famous for. I flashed Leo a quick grin before gaining momentum and swinging off.

Time Stopped. This was what I lived for, the feeling of flying, knowing that I'll land with a certainty that can only be attained by an intimate relationship with the art of trapeze. And I did land, hooking my legs around the bar and doing one more flip to reach the second platform. I let out a contented breath and looked over to see Leo staring at me in awe, as well as a small audience of competitors that had gathered to watch. Leo dashed over to me,
