This chapter has been written since I last updated, but I keep forgetting to post it because I'm on holiday.

Insipid: Lacking in qualities that interest, stimulate, or challenge; dull, flat (Merriam-Webster)

Damian was not happy at being summoned down to the bat cave. He had been planning to go to Grayson's room. Not to make sure he was ok, because that was for sentimental fools, but to... make sure he didn't get kidnapped in his vulnerable state.

He didn't care for Grayson, not at all.

Damian stomped over to the Bat-Computer, dragging Drake out of the chair and sitting in the chair himself. There were plenty of other chairs in the Batcave, but Damian definitely deserved the biggest and most imposing one.

Todd was the last one to enter, which Damian had predicted. He assumed the reason that Grayson wasn't there was because he was the subject of this meeting, and as always, Damian was right.

"I want to talk about Dick." Drake said, still glaring childishly at Damian for taking the chair,

"Talk then." Todd said in an unimpressed manor, Damian agreed, Grayson was feeling guilt about all the people he couldn't save, there was nothing more to say.

"What about when he claimed to have killed over twice the number you have?" Damian's Father asked, Todd shrugged,

"I know that the number was at least 5000 before he went missing." Drake's jaw dropped, Damian simply rolled his eyes,

"You mean 5, he can't possibly have killed more than that, you insipid parasite." Damian said confidently, Todd shook his head,

"Nope, it's at least 5000, almost definitely more."

"He's killed 5000 people?" Drake asked in shock.

"Not people, Dick doesn't kill people." Todd answered, Damian's face went cold,

"He's an animal hunter then." He said, feeling betrayed, how dare Damian's favourite brother kill animals? Todd snorted, the imbecile actually had the audacity to snort at him!

"He doesn't kill animals, Demon." Todd said, as if hunting was some kind of joke.

"Then what does he kill?" Damian's father asked sternly,

"He kills-" thunder clapped in the distance and Todd frowned, looking slightly nervous, "Looks like I'm not allowed to say." Damian smirked,

"Afraid of a little thunder, are we Todd?" Damian asked in a rude tone, Todd looked him dead in the eyes,

"If you knew anything, you would be too." He said coolly, "If you want to know any more, ask Dickhead, clearly, they don't want me sharing his family secrets." Todd said with a shrug and a vague gesture to the sky. Drake looked annoyed but brought out a small black notebook,

"In the car, Dick gave me clues about his new friends to see if I could find them, I'm going to look now." He said calmly, Todd snorted, but didn't say anything, for once (Damian would be celebrating if there weren't more important matters at hand).

"Could you guys give me some privacy to work my magic?" Drake asked, Damian rolled his eyes and muttered,

"Insipid." Which was his new favourite insult, then stomped off, his father following shortly after.

"No Jason, you can stay." Tim said sarcastically when Jason refused to move from his spot,

"I would have thought you'd want my help, considering I know all about Dickheads friends." Jason said coolly, Tim rolled his eyes,
