The talk Harry had with Andromeda was replaying in his mind, and he didn't know what to do with himself. He had so much energy that he decided to bake, with Draco on his mind. His answer to Draco was in the dessert, and Harry couldn't wait any longer. Draco had allowed him access to apparate into his room, and Harry was going to try it out. Tray in hand, he closed his eyes, and was pleased to find himself looking at Draco.

"Harry?," he asked, closing his book and sitting up. "What are you doing here?"

"I had to see you. These are for you," Harry said bashfully, holding out the tray.

"They're roses," Draco said quietly, rubbing his finger over the top of a pastry.

"They're your answer."

"My answer?," Draco asked for clarification, putting the tray down on his nightstand.

"To your courting flowers," Harry replied, a soft smile on his face.

Draco laughed, grabbed Harry's hands, and pulled him into his bed, wrapping himself around Harry.

"I'm so happy you said yes."

"Draco being with you is like breathing. It wasn't a question of if, just when."

"For clarification, I can eat those right?"

"Yes you can. I wanted a more creative way of saying yes than just sending you a flower. It's an apple filled pastry, and the apple slices are rolled to look like rose petals."

"My Harry is so thoughtful."

Harry got goosebumps at the possessive term, and Draco buried his face in Harry's neck, pressing a kiss there.

"My Draco is worth the effort," Harry replied, giggling as Draco pressed kisses all over his face.

Almost all over his face anyway. Harry knew now it was a pureblood custom to wait at least until the first date. In Harry's mind they had essentially been dating for months anyway, but he didn't want to overstep with Draco. While he knew Draco didn't hold the pureblood ideologies anymore, he knew that certain customs still meant a lot to him.

"Stay the night?"

"You couldn't make me leave if you tried."

"Have you tried these pastries yet?"

"No, I haven't."

"Cheers to us then," Draco said with a smile, grabbing two of the pastries and giving one to Harry.

Harry took his and fed it to Draco, who didn't think he could become even more infatuated with the other man. He was giddy and felt like giggling constantly. This was a side of Draco Harry felt privileged to see, and he was happy to be the cause of Draco's smile.

"You fit so perfectly in my arms."

"I don't think I've ever been this happy," Draco admitted.

"I know I've never been this happy."

"Salazar I can't stop smiling, my face hurts. I never thought that I could have you, that I could have this. I was so scared at first that you would reject me again. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized even if you didn't share my feelings, you wouldn't discard me."

"I don't think it won't work out for even a second my love, but if something happens, I won't let you leave my life. You're my home Draco."

"And you're mine," Draco replied quietly, overcome with emotions.

"My beautiful Draco," Harry whispered, voice akin to disbelief.

"Enough, this is far too sappy for me."
