Author's POV

Everyone was starting to settle in bed but Jae was up still. He took out his phone and texted Asmodeus telling him to come to the room. He didn't see a text back but Asmodeus came into the room within minutes holding up their favorite tub of ice cream and two spoons. "Can't sleep?" He said and Jae nodded.

He sat on the bed and handed Jae a spoon. The two were eating the ice cream. "You know I haven't heard anything from Micah. It's like he only cared about me for what I could bring him. Being in a new body is helping me see a lot. I'm better off without him. I don't even think he deserves to know that I'm alive." He sighed. "It's tearing me apart to not tell them. But I know how it's going to look on you if I do. And honestly I rather them find out on their own. I'm sure they would understand. It's scary." He felt tears slide down his cheeks.

Asmodeus hated seeing Jae cry. He put the ice cream down and motioned for Jae to get under the blanket. They would do this all the time Asmodeus would cuddle him to comfort him and it made Jae smile. "It's okay, you know that they all love you. They will understand."

"Hanzo will be hurt. He looks up to me. How can I look him in the face and tell him that I'm his brother. Would he even believe me?" He said and saw a pair of feet standing in the doorway as he said that. He looked up and saw Nova. "J-Jerin is it really you?" She whispered as she closed the door behind her. "Please don't be joking with me."

Jae sat up. "It's me Nova. If you don't believe me ask me something that only Jerin would know." He said holding her hands. "I-Okay, why did my mother really ground me for 2 months." She said with tears flowing down her face.

"Easy, you had sex with Kei in her special rose garden. She was pissed because Kei cu-." She put at hand over his mouth and smiled. "I believe you." The two shared a hug and Asmodeus smiled. "How are you in Jae's body and how did you switch souls?" She asked and They both explained to her what happened. Asmodeus didn't tell her the part about him loving Jae. "We're keeping this a secret until the war is over. I rather everyone find out on their own like how you did." Jae said and Nova shook her head.

"Maybe everyone else would be happy, not Hanzo. He'd be pissed especially if we all knew before him. You know that." She said. "Besides everyone said that you were acting weird today. Jae never was the first one to want to attack. That was you always. Hanzo noticed before anyone. He's on to you. Maybe not the others but he is. Kei and Ethan don't see anything coming so they won't be shocked. But Ivan and your brother will know. How long were you in Jae's body?"

"a week. But I was still trying to figure it out myself." He sighed. "But you are absolutely right. I might have to tell him." She nodded. "I'll keep it a secret for now. But you promise you'll tell him and you have to bestie promise me." Jae's eyes went wide. "A bestie promise? I really have to do it then huh." She nodded and he agreed to the deal. "You have these three days to tell him or I do. He's been fucked up since you 'passed'. It's bad Jae."

Jae knew he had to tell Hanzo. He just had to mentally prepare himself. He laid in the bed and Asmodeus got up to close the door and laid back down with him pulling him closer. "Why did you really save me?" Jae asked and Asmodeus swallowed hard. Jae turned around to look in his eyes. "I-I" Asmodeus blushed. "Because I Love you." He muttered.

"I can't hear you say it again?" He genuinely asked. "Why don't I just show you I'm not good with words." He pulled Jae closer and snapped back into reality. He was daydreaming.

After Nova left he cuddled Jae and the boy had fallen asleep. 'That's a sign to tell you before it's too late. I can't keep it in forever. I get mad seeing you with Ivan he shouldn't be dating you. It should be me.' He thought as he played with Jae's hair. Soon he fell asleep cuddling him.

Nova was in her room on the phone. "Nectar we got a problem. Jae is not Jae, he's Jerin." She said on the phone. Now that I gave you that information can you please free my mother. "Where are you located! I'll be there in the morning." Nova told her how to get to the base and now they were in more danger than ever.

The next morning Ethan woke up making breakfast for everyone. He pulled out all of the stops. Jae woke up to the smell of bacon and feeling a pair of strong arms holding him. He smiled and climbed out of bed quickly before walking to the kitchen to see the food that Ethan made. "I knew you could cook but I never knew that you could cook this good." He said smelling everything.

Suddenly an alarm went off stating that someone was coming into the base. Everyone woke up to see Serene standing there with guards. "Oh Jae, you thought you could hide from us. We know that you are Kim Jerin." Everyone looked at him and Hanzo's eyes went wide. "Sad that this time I'll be killing you." She grabbed the Ice staff and tried using it. Jae's Eyes went dark and he lifted her up with his hand chocking her. "How did you know?!" He asked and Nova came behind him hitting him with a vine. "I work for nectar, sorry babes." She smirked and Jae dropped Serene on the ground. "We will be taking your precious ice staff but first we gotta take out the trash." Serene grabbed her wand and aimed it at Jae charging it up. Nova had tied everyone up with vines.

"Jae you can break free. Open a portal to hell underneath Serene. Once she's in hell they will kill her. Remember demons are loyal to you." The voice said in his head and he closed his eyes as he worked on the spell.

"Babe why are you doing this?" Kei asked and Nova smirked. "We have a deal, I help them kill you guys and she lets my mother go free." She laughed. "To think you all actually believed I'd help you, thanks for the sex last night it was the last time you'll see this body. But this is the last time you'll see Jae alive. My plan to kill him failed last time. How else would Nectar know where he would be exactly. Just like now how would she have known to find him here."

Serene smirked. "She played you all for a fool." She smashed the ice staff with her foot destroying it. "You won't be needing that-." She looked down at her feet and saw a portal opening. "What the hell?" She said and tried to step away but the portal to hell opened. Demons came out and grabbed her legs. He used his telepathy to speak to Hanzo, 'I know you are mad at me but use the spell I taught you to freeze the vines. Crush them and free everyone' Hanzo nodded with tears in his eyes. 'I could never be mad at my number one supporter.' Hanzo's eyes turned blue and he broke everyone free from the vines.

Jae pulled Serene deeper into the portal and Nova looked scared. She opened a portal to leave the base and went in. Leaving serene and her guards behind. "Everyone together." We all joined our powers and shot Serene in the chest with a icy, firey, electrocuting blast." Her whole body shook and her guards stood infront of her. She fell down on her knees. "Kill them
Alll!!!" She yelled and a battle commenced. "The base was on lockdown thanks to nova trying to blow it up. We definitely have to ban her from entering once we destroy them." Asmodeus said to Jae.
