»»————> A couple weeks after Lain has kidnapped (Y/N) <————««
Rantaro, aka Honcho, and Silas, aka bad boy of blading, both walked silently in contemplation. First, the Hizashi brother ended up killed, and now their sister has been gone for a while. Both were concerned for the family and had decided to check up on them. When they got to the Hizashi home, they found both mother and father looking incredibly tired and stressed. They sat at their kitchen table, the mother tapping her leg so fast, her body shook. The father just had his hand on his head, his fingers moving in circles. As if soothing a headache away. Neither blader could blame him for it.
The two parents heads snapped up as they heard their front door open. They both appear visibly disappointed in seeing only Honcho and Silas. Mrs. Hizashi still walks up to the Legends with a kind smile, but her eyes show no enjoyment.
"Hiii, how are you guys? What can we do for you?" She asks as she stops before Honcho and Silas.
"Well, actually, ma'am, we were wondering if (Y/N) had given warning or anything? We are really worried. After her brother's died, she started acting really strange, and now all of a sudden, she has disappeared."
Mrs. Hizashi nods solemnly. "Yeah, I agree. She seemed to find comfort in Lain though. Strangely enough. They hung out a lot, oh my." Mrs. Hizashi put a hand over her mouth to cover her gasp. "What if something happened to the both if them??? I don't think I've seen Lain around either!!" She bites her lip, trying to stop the obvious tears now threatening to fall.
"We apologize deeply, Mrs. Hizashi. But you're right, we should talk to Shu about Lain, but first, may we see (Y/N)'s room first? Just to see if there are any clues?"
Mrs. Hizashi nods and wraps her arms around her husband for comfort. He finally speaks. "Second door to the left." That's all he says before beginning to sooth his wife, but he definitely needs soothing himself.
The two Legends exit the room without another word.
They see a glimpse of two twin beds in the first room to the left. Hyuga's and Hikaru's room. Or was. Then, they enter the second door to the left. (Y/N)'s room. A white desk sits across from the door with a plain black chair. A bed with lavender sheets, comforter, and decorations sit exactly to their right. Next to the bed is a plain white nightstand with silver knobs. On top was a simple alarm clock and tablet. With just enough space, closest to the corner, that likely held the girls launcher and bey. Nothing seemed to even be out of place. The girls closet was to the right of the door and held the girls usual outfit. But not even a speck of dust or anything else seemed to be anywhere. Honcho sighed.
"I told you this was a waste of time." Silas breaks his silence.
Honcho glares. "It's always worth a shot." Honcho says firm but not harsh. He knew Silas wouldn't admit it, but he missed "Pineapple Head."
Honcho shakes his head. "Let's head to Shu's and ask him about Lain." The two legends exit the room.
»»————> Meanwhile <————««
Lain Valhalla watched the two legends exit the room with gritted teeth. He had placed a camera in your clock to make sure you didn't do anything. . .unsafe. Now, he finds out that those freakin legends are trying to find you!!!! Ugh, it seems he'll have to deal with them. How annoying. He walks over to the bed where you sit reading. By now, he has loosened the chains enough that you can move a decent amount. You couldn't get off the bed, but that didn't bother him too much. He kissed you on the forehead, whispering, "I'll be right back. I love you, my nova." He only walked away when he heard, "Ok, I love you too, Lain." He gave a smile, but made a mental note to make you pick a name for him. Sure, he loved to hear you say his name, but it wouldn't hurt to have a nickname.
»»————> Back to Honcho and Silas <————««
The two legends were walking back to the National Training Center, it was getting a bit dark, so they figured they would take a plane to America in the morning. As they walked in silence, the sound of footsteps seemed incredibly loud. When I'm reality, if it hadn't been so silent, it likely wouldn't have been heard. Silas gave a quick, suspicious look behind him, but found nothing or no one behind them. They continued to walk. The footsteps seeming to go away. Maybe it had just been their imagination. Except it wasn't.Lain Valhalla held a knife in hand, slowly, cautiously, and silently stalking the legends. It wasn't going to be pretty. They didn't know that tho. So Honcho started whistling, maybe hoping to bring the mood up. It only gave Lain a chance to get closer to them. It was dark now, and the legends were so close to the training center. They wouldn't make it though.
Lain attacks Honcho first. Seven stabs in the back as Lain drags him into an alley. Silas quickly rushes into the alley after his friend. His eyes widening in shock as he sees Lain, Shu's disciple, the one hurting Honcho. He clenches his fist and charges at Lain. Lain ducks under the punch, into his stomach. One hand punching into his stomach. The other, using the knife to stab Silas seven times in the back. Silas slumps into Lain.
Lain, in two trips, dumps the bodies into a near by river. Thanking the darkness around him giving him cover.
As he walks back to him home and his nova. He wonders why stab seven times. He didn't quite know himself. Maybe because it was a lucky number. Maybe because he wanted to make sure they were dead. He didn't exactly enjoy the killing, but it was for his nova. Meaning it didn't bother him since she was with him. Nothing wrong with precautions. Plus, it didn't matter much anyway.
He entered with a smile, finding his nova asleep in their bed. He had switched to only having her in one chain since if she had two, it would making sleeping and cuddling with her very difficult. He softly shook her up. When her eyes opened, even if a bit groggier, he greeted her. "Hi, my nova. I've been thinking, what if you gave me a nickname? I have one for you after all." She didn't pay much attention to the question though. Her eyes were awakened with fear, and her body trembled. Lain looked down. Oh, right, the blood. He sighed. "I'll be right back." He left to a storage room turned closet and changed.
When he returned, he found her still obviously scared, but no longer trembling. "About that nickname, my nova. What if you call me "my flame."? I think it fits nicely." He climbed under the sheets. "Yeah, I like that. You'll call me your flame from now on. Ok?" The girl nods. Lain shakes his head. "Sorry, I don't hear anything."
"O-o-ok."
He grits his teeth. "Ok who?"
"O-ok, my flame."
He smiles. "Thank you. Good night, my nova."
She doesn't reply right away.
"Good night, my flame." The girls voice as silent as a whisper. (Y/N) falls asleep still scared. Lain falls asleep with contentment and happiness.
