savarah stayed over kentrell's house for a couple of hours before deciding to leave. she went home to unpack then went house hunting.
"so this is a three bedroom with two and a half baths. just to let you know, the washer and dryer machines come with the place and it's 100% new." the leasing agent explained as she gave me a tour.
"i'll take it." i smiled liking what i've seen. the agent sat a clipboard in front of me then said "are you paying in cash today?"
"yes ma'am" i sat a stack of hundreds from my savings account on the counter. the lady told me to sign my signature and i did just that and gave her the clipboard back.
"congrats on your new place ms. casimer. i'll let my boss know to take this residence off our website." she told me before walking out
"KYM!" i shouted once my friend answered my call
"what happened?"
"BITCH I JUST BOUGHT MY OWN HOME! period i'm so happy." i spoke on the verge of crying
"you lying? show me right now!! she dragged her words in disbelief
after showing her my new home i went back to my mom's place to tell her the news.
this situation could go left or right 🤷🏽♀️
"ma" i yelled when entering the house.
"girl what you want?" my mom spoke from her room
i jogged to the top of the staircase, holding onto my loose sweatpants from Adidas.
"soo.. you know i'm 19 right." i started off slowly. "ima just say it, i bought my own townhouse." i blurted out
she stared at me for a moment then embraced me with a warm hug.
"moona baby you're getting older and i just have to accept it." she called me by my nickname
"you not mad?"
"girl no, as long as you continue to be a good person and stay in school i'm happy. now i need to find kelani a babysitter." my mom chuckled
"i'm not moving out until i fully furnish it so you still have time but other than that let me show you what it looks like." i said making her squeal
