The outline is meant to help you stay in the story (from the beginning through the characters and places to the end). It is recommended to write in bullet points.
It is divided into three parts: Introduction, State and Conclusion.
Introduction
The introduction hides the introduction of the reader to the story, introduction to the character and some indication of a situation
State
We get to our own proper story, where the reader learns the plot and, through the escalation of tension, we get to the denouement and climax (the final solution)
Conclusion
The story ends here or some lesson is learned here
Or you can follow the dramatic vault (Exposure, Collision, Crisis, Peripetia and Catastrophe).
Exposure
Introduction to the plot
Collision
Plot, Conflict
Crisis
Culmination
Peripetia
An apparent resolution of the conflict, a twist
Catastrophe
Plot completion
