One Lonely Road #4

I was driving my car

I drove long and far

Miles away from you

Hanging with the crew

Maybe one day I will come back

Once I get my life back on track

I don't remember what I did

But now you are rid

You were one of the one's I sincerly trusted

I said with my lips bleeding and crusted

With my skin so pale

And my bones so fraile

I decided to turn around

Then I heard a terrible sound

I gazed up and saw three apachi's flying by

In the sky

Is this the end

The end of my friend

As I drove back toward my hometown

I started to frown

I gazed up toward the sun

And saw people starting to run

I realized why the apachi's were flying overhead

with the sky bloody red

I now sadly dread

With the feeling that all my friend's are dead

As I looked into the fire

I started to lose all desire

Until I saw a little girl in the street

Who ran toward me with her tiny feet

I took her in

I realized that she was my kin

After I left my hometown my parents had another kid

After what I did

I decided to keep their kid

Maybe this would repay for what I did
