These Shattered Memories call me back

Always finding it's way to my heart

Giving me an attack

Always tearing me apart

I walk on broken glass

Through the pain

I hope it will pass

That my soul can sustain

The pain

That tolled

I walk in this rain

No reason to hold

To hold on any longer

To this Memory that is Shattered

I grew stronger

But it never really mattered

Because inside

I never really cared

You lied

Who cares what burden you beard

I lost it all

To take your hand

To cover your fall

Cutting every strand

Every living thing

On Earth

Started to sing

Upon Birth

These Shattered Memories like a tattoo

It never goes away

I don't know what to do

But I still have to pay

For my mistakes

In this drive

I slam on my brakes

I'm still alive

Waiting on my head

To shatter the glass

Still walking ahead

Hoping it will pass

I can't hold on any longer

To this Memory that is Shattered

Even though I grew stronger

It never really mattered
