Nightfall #71

Every night, we look up at the sky

Every day, we live to pray

Every week, we become more meek

Every death, we take another breath

Looking at the glorious sight, that is right

The nightfall, takes the place of a death

A soul lost, a pathway crossed

A way torn, a savior born

The dawn comes again, to rid the world of darkness

The sun rises, to glorify the son

The people, are ready for the sequel

The wind, comes to an end

That last nightfall, we all fall

To our knees, we all catch a light breeze

This last transmission, taken to a new position

This last night, we no longer fight

With blood seeping through my eyes, you gave me a surprise

Insects crawl on my skin, but I come back to you again

Flames singed my hair, but you never seemed to care

The one thing I pray, is that I will live to see another day

I see another nightfall, to stop your fall

One more night, one less fight

One more day, more time to pray

The last nightfall, we all crawl
