Pete had settled into his new life as a bodyguard of the main family. It had been a month since he started working back there, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. The main family had welcomed him back with open arms, and he had quickly become one of the essential part of their household.

One of the most significant changes in Pete's life was the friendship that had blossomed between his son, Venice, and Kinn and Porsche's twins, Jax and Max. The three of them had become inseparable playmates, their laughter filling the mansion as they explored, played games, and built memories together. It warmed Pete's heart to see Venice so happy and content.

However, it wasn't just Venice who had found companionship within the main family. Pete's daughter, Seoul, had formed a peculiar bond with two of the family members, Porsche and Tankhun. Despite Tankhun's persistent efforts to win her over with gifts and kindness, Seoul still favored Porsche. Pete couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing rivalry between the two, and he was grateful that his daughter had found people she felt comfortable with.

As the days passed, Pete began to regain the physique and skills he had once possessed during his time as a bodyguard. Kinn occasionally invited Pete to join him on missions, but these missions were nothing dangerous, thanks to the concerns expressed by Porsche and Tankhun. Pete appreciated their consideration for his safety and was content with being involved in missions that allowed him to use his expertise without putting his life on the line.

Pete's life had taken a new direction, centered around his children and his commitment to serving the main family. Although he was fulfilled in his role, he couldn't help but think of his late wife, Som, from time to time. Her memory lingered in his heart, and he knew that she would have approved of the choices he had made for their children's future. With a sense of purpose and a hopeful outlook, Pete looked forward to providing his children with a better life in the vibrant city of Bangkok, a place where they could grow and thrive.

Pete had just finished his rigorous gun training session. As he made his way through the main hall of the mansion, his thoughts were focused on checking in on Venice and Seoul, who were with Jax and Pax in the playroom, under Madee and a few bodyguards' supervision. But before he could reach his destination, his eyes caught sight of a familiar face at the entrance of the main living room—Macau.

Macau's face lit up with a warm smile upon spotting Pete. Without hesitation, he rushed toward him and enveloped him in a tight, heartfelt hug. Memories of the time they had spent together while caring for Vegas during his coma, flooded back. Pete couldn't help but return the embrace, his arms wrapping around Macau's sturdy frame.

"It's so good to see you again, P'Pete," Macau said with genuine delight as he released the hug. His eyes sparkled with happiness.

Pete, still holding a fond smile, asked, "How have you been?"

Macau beamed even brighter, "I'm great. Wait! I need to introduce you to my family," he motioned to a woman pushing a stroller nearby. "Let me introduce you to my wife, Cherry, and our son, Rome." Pete extended his hand, introducing himself to Cherry, who smiled warmly in response. "I've heard a lot about you, P'Pete. I'm glad we finally get to meet."

The conversation flowed easily as they caught up, and Macau eventually asked, "So, are you working for the main family again?"

Pete nodded affirmatively just as two more figures arrived on the scene—Vegas and Tay. Tay's surprise at seeing Pete was evident.

"Hia, P'Pete is back at the main family," Macau quickly informed Vegas.

Vegas casually responded, "Yeah, I knew. Saw him last month." Cherry, Macau, and Tay looked between Pete and Vegas. Pete then greets Vegas and Tay,
