"Are you sure you don't want me to stay home and take care of you while your sick sweety,I'm sure your father wouldn't mind?"Karen's mother Mae asked
"No mom I'll be fine,I'm not a little girl anymore I'm 16 which means I have to learn how to sometimes be at home by myself when you and dad aren't."
"She's right dear we have to trust that she'll be ok alone."Karen's father James spoke
"Ok,well here's the number to the hotel we'll be staying at not far from the COGIC Convocation,also the numbers of those take out places you love since I didn't have the time to cook for you and lastly the medicines I want you to take right here on your nightstand.I love you and hope you feel better."The mother replied kissing Karen's hand while the father did the same
"Thank you guys,I love you too."
They all said their goodbyes and Karen faked staying in bed until she got up,looking through her window and watched her parents pull out the driveway.
She gave her parents a 30 minute head start to make sure they weren't coming right back and with them not she grinned stripping herself naked,putting on her robe that she'd be waiting for her girlfriend in.
It took nothing flat for her girlfriend to get there.Beyoncé parked around the corner so her girlfriends nosey neighbors didn't hear her and watch her with suspicion so they could snitch on Karen to her parents.
