I woke up in the healing centre. The brightness flashed in my eyes and temporarily blinded me. "Woah easy there" Elwin said flashing an orange light orb around my face. I realized she tried to get up.
"What happened?" I choked as he set 2 elixirs beside my cot. One slightly brown one and a red one that smelled like cinnamon.
"Grady said you passed out. He found you in your room." Elwin passed me the elixirs and told me to drink them.
Someone pounded on the door. And let himself in.(Grady)
"Wait. was there a note beside me?" I asked panicking, remembering what I saw before.
"Um... Nooooooooo....." Grady stuttered.
"There was!" I felt nauseous again. "Wait so, he's gone?"
Grady paused. "Sorry kiddo. He went to the forbidden cities."
I burst into tears. Imagining him cold and scared. Then thinking about how much I missed him. I MISSED him so much. I thought he would never do that again. We could've worked this out.
I would have him back.
No matter what it takes.
