(y/n)'s POV:

Legacy Day was just around the corner and I am officially freaking the hex out. I was pacing through my dorm and Cupid wasn't here to help me calm down. My footsteps echoed throughout the room and birds landed on the windowsill, chirping to each other in concern. The book that Madam Maid Marian had given me was open on my bed showing the story of the outlawed Marian.

"Headmaster Grimm told Raven that if she doesn't sign the book, she'll poof!" I say to myself, brows furrowing. "My destiny was only decided recently, so does that really apply to me? I don't want to poof! And signing the book wouldn't be awful, Sparrow is definitely not the worst guy to end up with," I ramble on. Legacy Day was in only three days and I didn't know what to do. I sit on my bed, releasing a large sigh and looking towards the book. I could always be an outlaw, too, I smile to myself.

A sudden knock on the door breaks me from my panic. I stand up, straighten my skirt, and walk to the entrance of my dorm.

"One moment!" I call out. I grasp the doorknob, opening the door to see Sparrow standing in front of me.

"Hey, (y/n)," he says while rubbing the back of his neck. "Is it cool if I come in?" he asks.

"Oh, yeah, sure," I stumble over my words while opening the door wider to let Sparrow in. Sparrow stands in the center of the room, observing everything while letting out a long whistle.

"Nice place you got here," he compliments.

"Thank you," I mumble, tucking a strand of (h/c) hair behind my ear. "So why are you here?" I ask, sitting on my bed and patting the spot beside me. He sits beside me, leaning back on his hands.

"I wanted to check up on you," Sparrow blushes, "Legacy Day is in only a few days." I look at Sparrow in surprise.

He's concerned? About me? I think, my face turning a light pink. "Well, not gonna lie, I was pacing the room in a panic when you got here," I laugh in embarrassment. Sparrow grabs one of my hands, stopping my awkward laughter.

"You don't have to sign if you don't want to," his eyes are full of concern for me and slight disappointment.

"I thought you didn't want to sign either," I say with a reassuring smile. Sparrow looks away from me and I sit up straighter. "Right?" I ask again.

"I honestly don't know anymore," Sparrow whispers. My heart is beating loudly in my chest and I'm surprised Sparrow can't hear it. His head hangs as he looks up at me through his hair. "I really like you, (y/n)" Sparrow admits. "So much that you make me want to follow my destiny."

I'm frozen in shock, (e/c) eyes open wide and mouth slightly open. I'm clearly staring for way too long when Sparrow begins to stand up.

"I'm sorry, I should've known you don't feel the same way," Sparrow begins to backtrack, walking towards the door.

"Wait! No, stay, please," I jump up, grabbing his hand before he gets the chance to leave. Sparrow stares back at me, concern etched into his brow and anticipation in his eyes.

"I like you, too," I say softly looking directly into Sparrow's eyes. "And I want to sign the Storybook of Legends, for you," I add, looking away from the man standing in front of me.

Before I get the chance to look back up, Sparrow places his hand up my chin, tilting my head so I'll look at him. Green and (e/c) eyes meet before mine dart away to analyze his blush-dusted face. I look back up just in time to see Sparrow's eye flicker to my lips before going back to my eyes, silently asking for permission. I don't let go of eye contact, giving my own answer back.

Sparrow's hand rests on the side of my jaw, tilting my face towards his own. My eyes shut as our lips connect, a tingle of electricity running through my body. I wrap my arms around Sparrow's neck, deepening the kiss. Sparrow's other arm then wraps around my waist, pulling me into his chest.

We break apart, looking at each other with adoration. Neither of us knows what to say, so I just rest my head on Sparrow's shoulder as he wraps both arms around my waist, holding me to his chest. I sigh happily as we sway slightly, then look up at Sparrow.

"I'm really happy," I laugh quietly.

"I'm glad," Sparrow smiles as he kisses the top of my head.

3rd Person:

Outside the dorm, Cupid peers in, the door open just a crack. She had originally gone back for a book she needed for Briar's study party, but quietly forgotten that once she saw the couple inside. Cupid looked on with a certain fondness in her eyes as the pair shared their first kiss before just holding each other.

"Young love," Cupid whispered, smiling for her friend before shutting her dorm. As Cupid walked back to Briar and Ashlynn's room, there was only one thing on her mind.

"I can't wait to tell the girls about this!" she squealed, skipping down the hallway with newfound happiness.
