"Well, I could just take him out." Evie heard Steve say as she walked into the backroom.

"Pff, yeah, right." Evie added.
"You don't even know who." Steve acknowledged the girl.

"It doesn't even matter. I know what happened with Jonathan Byers..oh and Billy hargrove." Evie smirked, quirking a brow.

Steve scowled and looked in Dustin's direction.
"Did you tell her." He whispered to Dustin.

"No, she must have heard about it from someone." Dustin whispered back.

"Alright, enough. Who are you taking out?" Robin asked.

"The Russian guard." Steve answered seriously.

Evie facepalmed. "I knock him out, and I take his keyboard. It's easy." He proposed leaning his head into his hand.

"Did you not hear about the part with the massive gun?" Dustin asked.

"Yes, Dustin, I did. And that's why I would be sneaking." He answered.

"Steve, you can not be serious." Evie said.
"I'm 100 percent serious." He spoke.

"Well, please, tell me this, and be honest, have you ever actually won a fight?" Dustin asked.

"That was one time -
Two times, Jonathan prior
That doesn't count." Steve and Dustin argued.

" Why wouldn't it? Because it looks like he beat the shit out of you." Dustin spoke.

"That might just work." Robin mumbled.

Robin ran out of the breakroom with the others following behind her.

She fished through the tips jar and took out all the money, leaving the change.

"Robin, what are you doing?" Steve questioned.

"I need cash." She answered.
Some of that's mine and Evie's." He protested.

" We are going to get into that room in a Safeway period and in the meantime.
Sling ice cream behaves and doesn't get beat up. I'll be back in a jiff." She waved and ran off.

"Aw, ew." Evie gasped as Dustin licked Steve's ice cream scooper.
Steve looked over, grumbled.
"Dude. No, my scooper." Steve snapped and grabbed the scooper out of Dustin's hand.

"Star Court Mall. The complete blueprints." Robin announced, rolling out the map and lying it on the table.

"Not bad." Dustin chimed.
"Wow." Evie mumbled, looking over the map.

"So this is us, scoops, and this is where we wanna get." She pointed out.

"I don't really see a way in."Steve admitted.

"There's not. If you're talking exclusively about doors." She added.

"Air duct." Dustin grinned in realization.
"Exactly." She smiled and ran over to the translation board.

"Turns out, this secret room needs air just like any old room. And these air ducts lead all the way here." She said while running a red marker down the map and circled a spot.

Evie stood in concentration, staring at the map.

Steve grabbed a ladder from a work in the main part of the mall and set it under the air vent. He climbed up and used a screw driver to get the vent off.

"Can you grab it." Steve mumbled through the screwdriver in his mouth.

Evie grabbed it, and Dustin handed him a flashlight.

" Yeah,I don't know, man. I don't know if you can fit in here. It's like super tight." Steve said, looking into the vent.

"I'll fit. Trust me, no collarbones." Dustin said Sure of himself as Steve climbed down the ladder.

"Escuse me?" Robin asked, confused.
Steve jumped off the last step, and Dustin started climbing up.

"Oh, he's got, uh..yeah, he's got some disease." Steve said, thinking of the name.

"Real specific dumbass." Evie commented.
"I'm trying to think it's like, uh, chry...it's Chrydo, uh. Something, he's like missing bones and stuff. He can bend like Gumbo." Steve said.

Robin gave him a "Are you serious look. "You mean Gumby." Robin argued.

"Nah, I'm pretty sure it's gumbo." Steve said as Dustin yelled at him to push him into the vent.

The girls exchanged eye rolls and watched the scene unfold before them.

Steve climbed up the ladder and started pushing on Dustin's feet. "Touch my butt! I don't care." Dustin exclaimed.

Evie giggled to herself and picked at her chipped black nail polish.

"Harder." Dustin squealed. "I'm trying." Steve stated, putting Dustin's legs on his shoulder.

"This could be taken in a different context." Evie mumbled, but the others heard her. Robin broke out in a fit of laughter, and evie joined her.

"Evie!! Gross." Steve and Dustin exclaimed.

"I'm just gonna shove you, ready?" Steve asked the curly haired boy in position to shove him into the vent.

"Just shove me." Dustin's muffled voice said. "1,2" Steve counted, shoving him harder inside, but nothing seemed to happen. "That work?" Steve asked.
"One more time." Dustin spoke.

Robin rolled her eyes as ringing wad heard from the customer bell outside.
The girls looked to find Erica Sinclair ringing it.

"Ahoy, sailors! All hands on deck!" Erica called. "Huh." Evie looked to Robin with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking." Evie asked. Robin smirked knowingly.
