"You think they built this whole mall just so they could transport that green poisen?" Steve wondered as they walked down the long tunnel, hoping to find the exit.

"Anything is possible. Who knows what their gonna use it for." Evie said, dragging her feet. She was happy she wore her vans today since she was doing all this walking.

"I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as poisen. It's gotta be much more valuable, like promethium or something." Dustin said, going through the possibilities.

"What the hell is promethium?" Steve asked, looking towards evie.
She shook her head and looked towards Dustin and robin for an explanation.

"It's what Victor stones dad used to make cyborgs bionic and cybernetic components." Robin explained.

"You're all so nerdy. It makes me physically ill." Erica presented to throw up.

"No, no,no. Don't lump me in with them." Steve shook his head, waving his arm in a no motion.

"Why so sensitive, harrington?" Afraid of losing cool points to a ten year old child?" Robin teased.

"No, I'm just saying I don't know jack shit about prometheus." Steve said.

"That's a Greek mythological figure dumbass." Evie spoke, jabbing Steve shoudler.

"Oh, sorry." Steve held his hands up in surrender.

"All I'm saying is it's probably being used to make something." Dustin wondered.

"Or power something." Robin said.

"Like a nuclear weapon."Dustin said.

"Walking towards a nuclear weapon. That's great." Steve mumbled.

"If their building something. Why here? I mean, hawkins, seriously. Of all places. At the very best, we were a toilet stop on your way to Disneyland, but maybe that's it." Robin rambled.

Evie, Robin, and Erica kept walking as Steve and Dustin dropped behind.

"Probably because nobody would suspect something like this in Hawkins. Their probably like sweet old Hawkins. Let's spice it up a little bit with us Russians plotting the end of the world under it." Evie rambled.

Evie noticed the boys had dropped behind, so she tapped Robin.

Robin turned around and noticed the boys being secretive.
"I'm sorry, is there something you'd like to share with the class?" Robin asked, annoyed.

Steve and Dustin shared a look before Dustin's walky started going off with Russians speaking.

They raced over to Erica, who dropped her bag and fished through to find the walky. She pulled it out and handed it to Robin.

"A trip to China sounds nice. If you tread nicely." Robin spoke along with the man.

"It's the code." Dustin said as they kneeled on the floor.

"Wherever that broadcast is coming from its close." Robin spoke happily.

                      ~           ~          ~

Steve snuck between a locker with the rest of the group behind them. He watched the Russians waiting for a gap to run through.

"Clear, come on, let's go." Steve rushed the group as they quickly followed.
Evie stuck close behind Robin.

"That was close." Robin spoke.
"Too close." Dustin added.

"Relax. Nobody saw...." Steve cut himself off, admiring the Russian lobby.

"Christ." Evie mumbled, watching all the Russians in their uniforms, some with white coats and loading carts bustling about.

Steve pushed the group behind a storage container at the sight of a very stern man with a gun that he tightly held on to.

"Jesus." Steve mumbled, peeking out behind the box.

"I saw him, first floor, northwest." Erica whispered.

"Saw what?" Steve asked.
"The comms room." Erica whispered, yelled.

"The comms room." Steve repeated.
"Correct." Erica spoke.

"Are you sure?" Dustin asked.
"Positive. The door was open for a second, and I saw a bunch of lights and machines and shit in there." Erica explained.

"That could mean a hundred different things." Dustin spoke.
Evie shifted in her knees uncomfortably between Robin and Steve.

"I'll take those odds." Robin whispered to Steve and Evie.
Evie nodded along with her.

"It's the only chance we've got of getting out of here." Evie said. Steve sighed and shook his head.

"We're gonna move fast, were gonna stay low. Okay?" Steve explained, making sure everyone agreed.

"Okay." Evie said as Robin nodded.

Steve shifted low and quickly moved across the room to another set of storage boxes. Evie moved swiftly behind him with the others in tow.

They continued moving until they got to storage boxes close to the door.

He watched a man in a white coat go by before waving him hand and leading them through the door.

Steve made a shshing motion as he grabbed the door before it could close, and the others made their way in.

He shut the door as a man in a swivel chair turned around, pulling the headphones from his head.

Evie watched the man with wide eyes before Robin started speaking Russian to throw the man off before he reached his gun.

"Silver cat." She translated the man talked confused in Russian.

Steve slowly pushed Evie behind him. She watched over his shoudler.

"Ketai?" Robin spoke as Steve let out a battle cry as he rushed at the man, pushing him down. The Russian pushed him into a button board, but Steve quickly regained himself.

The man made a swing, but Steve dodged him, and the man pulled him by his shirt towards him.

Steve got pushed front ward on the keyboard, but he jabbed the man in his thign. The man cried in pain as Steve grabbed the comm and hit the man harshly across the head. His body slumped to the floor.

Steve leaned on the keyboard out of breath. Evie blushed at his state and found him winning the fight attractive.

Robin winked at Evie when she noticed that she was a blushing mess.

"Dude, you did it. You won a fight." Dustin grinned, pointing.

Steve smiked at the man's slumped body.

Dustin rushed over to the man and grabbed his key card.

"What are you doing?" Erica asked.
"Getting us our ticket out of here." Dustin spoke.

"Are you ok?" Evie asked, rushing towards him. He checked his body for injuries with her eyes.

"I'm more than ok." Steve grinned in which Evie returned.

"You want to walk all the way back." Erica snapped.

"Well, we can hang out for a little bit, relax, have a picnic, maybe." Dustin teased.

"Have a picnic? We came here for the radio." Erica said, growing annoyed.

Steve grabbed Evies hand in which they both blushed at.

"Guys, there's something up there." Robin interrupted their bickering and pointed to the top of the stairs.

Robin held open the door as they all walked through.

"Holy shit." Dustin said as they peered through the window to see a huge crack in the wall that was being powered open.

"What the fuck is that." Evie said as her heart raced at the sight. She could feel the power from the machine that was opening the crack even wider.
