2 months into the pregnancy
DIANA WAS LOVING BEING AT HOME, SHE HAD FINALLY COME TO TERMS THAT SHE WAS HAVING A BABY. Diana had lately started staring at her flat tummy, which looked to have a tiny little bump that suggested that there was a small baby in there, probably not even a formed baby yet, but Diana instantly felt a connection with the baby.
Her mother had been helping her non-stop with with the pregnancy symptoms, nausea had been one of the biggest symptoms to come from the pregnancy, and not one that Diana was fond of. Most of the week, Diana would spend her mornings near the toilet with her mother holding her long hair back away from her face.
Diana decided, though, it was time to go back to Hogwarts, she had processed things, she had dealt with the things that were bothering her, she had come to terms with the fact that it was just going to be her and the baby. She knew when going back to Hogwarts, she would ultimatley just have to avoid bumping into the so called 'marauders', especially that of James Potter.
Diana's mother started worrying over her as she wandered over to the fireplace, waiting for her daughter to floo back to school, which got more fussy now that her daughter was expecting her first child."-and remember to take your vitamins, eat well and if you need absolutely anything you write to me, even get Dumbledore to come and get me, i will drop everything. Oh and you need to talk to your brother, we can't just not tell him and then when the year ends he comes home and suddenly a baby here, lord knows he can't think it's his baby brother or sister." Diana laughed, knowing that her little brother Otto had been constantly asking his mother for a sibling, to which the answer had been no, but now Diana was having a baby, she couldn't help but feel that, whether it was his niece or nephew, he would treat this child with the same love that he treated Diana.
"I will mama, he has been writing to me constantly asking where I am, i've had to tell him i've just been under the weather. I'll look after him mama, you don't need to worry about me or Otto, we're okay."
Amelia Marlowe sighed, smiling whilst shaking her head. "I know darling, but everything is different now, you're all grown up and having a baby, I just don't want you to go through this alone, no matter how strong you are, you'll always be my baby."
Diana kissed her mother on the cheek, "I'll send you letters everyday updating you on the baby, don't worry."
"I know, i know, don't worry, i'll stop being the overbearing mother now." Amelia said to her daughter, rolling her eyes, pulling her daughter in for a hug. "Now, be safe, be careful, be kind and enjoy yourself."
"Bye mama, i love you." Diana waved to her mother and she picked up the floo powder and shouted "Hogwarts Hufflepuff Commonroom!"

"DiDi!" Diana had only been back at Hogwarts for a short time, settling back into her dorm room and overall being relieved to be back in the place she had considered home for the last 7 years. Her brother Otto was a first-year Gryffindor, and Diana made it her duty to find him as soon as she returned to school.
The young girl had made her way up to the gryffindor common room which a few floors up from the hufflepuff common room, which made Diana very out of breath by the time she had made her way up. Diana had asked the lady on the front of the commonroom portrait to see if her brother was inside the common room, and low and behold she knew he was by the way in which he almost knocked her over when he ran out the portrait.
"Are you okay? Where have you been? Can you help me with my homework? I know mama said I have to do it by myself but surely youcan help me Di, i'll even give you some of my chocolate-" Otto ranted as Diana tried to get him to breath instead of rambling.
"Otto," Diana laughter looking at her little brother, "I am fine. I just told you I was sick, but i'm much better now I promise."
Otto breathed a sigh of relief, "okay good because ancient runes is really difficult and you're smart so you can help me!" Diana giggled, she couldn't help but admire his innocence; they were such close siblings, but unlike other siblings, they rarely argued, and if they did, it was most often over Diana stealing a piece of the young boy's chocolate, which Diana couldn't help but do now and then.
"Fine! I will help you, but i'm keeping you to that chocolate deal-"
"Diana?"
"Potter, Black." Diana smiled at the two boys who appeared to have emerged from the communal space at precisely this moment. Diana couldn't help but think that this was either a coincidence or that Merlin was playing a good old joke on her, just to make her life a little bit more difficult than it was already. Diana's entire aim in returning to Hogwarts was to avoid James Potter; he had made his feelings quite obvious, and Diana was ok with that; it was easier for the two of them to just avoid each other, Diana to prevent hurt, and James to avoid anybody finding out she was pregnant.
"Diana, c-can we talk-" James began to try to speak to the pregnant girl but she cut him off before he could finish, she grabbed her brothers hand. "Sorry i've got to go help my brother with his homework, great to see you though!"
Diana began walking, pulling her brother along as the young boy was looking confused at his older sister. "DiDi, why are we going now, and how do you know James Potter and Sirius Black, they're like the most popular guy's in Gryffindor!"
Walking into the library, Diana just needed a place to escape the two boys, and knew they would almost never come into this part of the school, it was quiet enough for the two sibilings to speak in private. "Otto, darling, I need o speak to you about something."
"Are you dying?"
"No i'm not dying, in fact i'm rather the opposite, i'm having a baby." Diana told her brother as his eyes went wide looking at his sister.
"But, how?" Otto asked, not quite old enough to fully understand the concept of how a baby is made.
Diana looked nervously at her brother, not quite sure the correct way in answering his question. "Sometimes it just happens Otto, and it happened to me. It's okay though, it's a joyful thing, and mama knows and she's excited. You're going to have a little neice or nephew."
"Okay cool, now about that Ancient runes work."
