OTTO ALWAYS WOKE HIS SISTER UP ON CHRISTMAS MORNING, IT WAS ALMOST LIKE A TRADITION and this year, he also had Sirius who was practically a child when it came to christmas, so when he walked into Diana's room as she wasn't there, he and Sirius were confused as to where she would have gone. The house was deadly silent apart from Otto's and Sirius's footsteps being heard. It was 7am and both boys had decided that was early enough for them to wake both Diana and James up on christmas.

Sirius had decided that if they couldn't locate Diana, they should go alert James, but when he unlocked James' door, he found both James and Diana asleep, tucked up next to one other. Sirius had suspected that it had happened at some time throughout the night because he had seen the two go into their separate rooms the night before, but he couldn't help but notice how peaceful they appeared together.

He and Otto were still going to wake them up though, no matter how peaceful they looked.

"Merry christmas!" Sirius and Otto practically screamed, Otto running up onto Jame's bed waking the pair up, whilst Sirius just stood next to James, arms cross and a smirk upon his face as the took woke up, unsure of what was happening.

"Morning lovebirds, sorry to disturb you, but your son wants to open his presents, and me too, you had both better had gotten me good presents." Sirius said, as both James and Diana groggily sat up, with Otto hugging Diana, them both talking amongst themselves about christmas morning. James turned to his best friend, "son?" He asked, confused as to what Sirius had meant, both James and Diana hadn't found out the gender of the baby yet.

"Oh c'mon Otto is practically yours and Diana's son, you both treat him like it anyway." Sirius rolled his eyes smiling. Overthe past three months of Diana being pregnant and James getting to know the Marlowe family, James had most certainly took Otto his wing, especially since Otto had asked him to not leave the baby and spoke to him about loosing his own father, James couldn't help but feel protective over the boy, and with Diana already acting like a second mother towards Otto, the pair were practically already acting like parents, before their own child was even born.

"Shut up, Sirius." James mumbled getting himself out of bed staring at Diana and Otto, who had also gotten out of bed and were making their way downstairs. Diana shifted her gaze to James, who returned her gaze, both quietly smiling with small crimson tints on their cheeks.

Sirius looked between the two, rolling his eyes. "You both need to get laid, honestly."

"Shut up, padfoot."

Christmas morning in the Potter family was chaotic to say the least, with gifts flying everywhere, being handed to each other, festive food being passed around, and celebrations all around. Diana had not anticipated many gifts; she never did; it was generally just her family of three, and Diana could only afford to purchase things for other people because she had gotten older and her mother had given her some of her money after her father died. Diana had attempted to buy gifts for the Potters, Sirius, and the other marauder boys when James informed her that she would be spending Christmas with them. She had also made sure to send gifts to Lily and the other girls who helped her when she was injured, knowing they would be delivered by owls on Christmas morning.

But, Diana recieved so many more gifts than she had thought, even Otto, who she would never expect a gift from at his age had brought her something (Diana had a sneaky feeling James had something to do with it), he had brought her many varieties of chocolates from HoneyDukes that she had had cravings for recently. Sirius had brought her a baby grow, with the words 'I love my Godfather across it' to which both Diana and James laughed at, though Sirius was unsure what they were laughing about, it was a serious gift, not a comedic one.

Remus had brought her plenty of books, some about babies and others for pure joy of reading, which Diana appreciated massively, she loved reading and in her spare time recently she would speak to Remus about what their favourite books were, both exchanging reccomendations.

And James, she had not expected much from him, but he had gifted her the most beautiful gold necklace she had ever seen, it was a love heart which he had charmed with the beat of their babies heartbeat. Diana had tears in her eyes when she put it on, "James, this it-its wonderful."

James had scratched the back of his neck, all embarrassed infront of the other watching him give her this gift. "Well, it's from me and the baby, obviously, you've done all the hard work of the pregnancy i thought you deserved something nice." He said, as Diana wiped her eyes, standing up and hugging James.

"I love it, thank you." Diana said with her arms round round James neck, who responded with putting his arms round her waist, hugging her back. "You're welcome," he whispered.

"Can I have mine now? " Otto said, impatiently watching Diana and James hug.

James chuckled, pulling away from Diana, looking over at Otto who had his hands on his hips, he had been waiting all morning for his gifts and was growing more and more impatient.

"Otto, have some manners." Diana said to her little brother, who replied, "can I have mine now, please." He said smiling sweetly, a hint of sarcasm at the word 'please'. As Diana just rolled her eyes, "you're getting way too much like Sirius."

"Thank you," he grinned, whilst Diana muttered, "it wasn't a compliment."

Otto had recieved a few bits from everyone, Sirius had got him some pranking bits, much to Diana's annoyance, Euphemia and Fleamont had brought him some new quills and school supplies, Remus had brought him chocolate and then it was James' turn to give Otto his presents.

A large box sat in front of Otto, much larger than everyone else's presents, and Diana was only hoping it wasn't some form of animal, knowing James was often unpredictable in what he did, and praying whatever the present was, it wasn't anything Diana didn't agree with.

As soon as Otto had ripped open the box, his eyes almost looked as if they could pop ot of his head.

"A broomstick!" Otto practically screamed, as Diana just looked at James, her mouth wide open. "James, that must have cost you loads!" Diana said, "let me put some money towards it please, that must of cost you a fortune!" Diana pleaded, as James just shook his head.

"I knew how much he wanted to learn Quidditch, every quidditch player has to have a broom."

"Well, I guess my present is no longer the favourite." Sirius rolled his eyes, slighty pouting.

"That was the sweetest thing you could ever of done for him, James." Diana whispered to him, as James just shrugged.

"I promised to take care of you both, that's exactly what I'm doing."
