18. Grocery shopping

I was reading over a list of things I needed to buy.

I wasn't looking where I was going and I guess they weren't either because we crashed into each other.

"Oof!" I stumbled backwards and fell.

I looked up to see a buff man wearing black shoes, black pants a black shirt, black leather jacket, a black cloth medical mask, black sunglasses and a black cap.

He had two brown paper bags full of groceries in his arms.

"Oh, I'm sorry, sir. I wasn't looking where I was going."

He nodded and I stood up.

"I'm really sorry, is there anything that needs replacing?"

He shook his head.

Not much of a talker, huh?

We stated at each other then I yelped as I was picked up and spun around.

Suddenly I was in the air and I didn't know how to react.

I should probably land on my hands and knees.

"Wait, stop turning!"

I know that voice.

I fell back down to earth and was caught by my oldest brother Koby.

"You... You jerk! Why would you do that!?"

Koby gave me a big ol kiss on the cheek and I gagged.

"Get off me, asswipe!"

"Ohh, my little baby sister! I haven't seen you in ages!"

"Is that teenie weenie YN!? Oh let me hold her!" Sebastian ran over and grabbed my face, kissing all over my cheeks and forehead.

"Get off me! Get!" I began to kick and thrash.

The people walking past us looked at us oddly.

"Aww, our new recruit!" Jason pulled me into his arms and squeezed the living daylights out of me.

"How does it feel to me in the military, teenie weenie?" Kevin laughed.

"Terrible. My lieutenant hates my ass."

"Aww, want me to beat his ass for you?"

"No."

"Come on, I could take him!" Koby flexed his arms.

"Well, you are taller than him by my two inches. But no, you know father would freak if I got the boot."

"Then you could join us in the US military!" Kevin pulled me free from Jason.

"How did you guys know I was here anyways?" I asked out of breath.

"Life 360 told us."

"I don't have Life 360?" I tilted my head confused.

My brothers all glanced at each other then started inside the store.

"Hey! I don't have Life 360! Did you guys download it on my phone!? You guys are tracking me!? Stalking me!?" I hurried after them then stopped.

The mysterious man was looking at me.

When he saw me looking, he turned and walked into the parking lot.

Weirdo.

I hurried after my brothers.

"So, who was that?"

I looked up at Sebastian.

"Hm?"

"That guy. Why were you two talking? Who was he?"

"Oh, I don't know. I crashed into him and I was apologizing. He didn't talk though."

"How'd you crash into him?"

"I was going over the list and I wasn't looking where I was going."

"You got be more careful, tiny! What if he had gotten angry?" Sebastian threw an arm at me.

"I know, I know."
