I'm so sorry for the late update but this has probably been the worst month I've had in years. Unfortunately, I can't promise I'll update again soon, but I will update again even if slowly

As usual, (Y/n) bore a slight frown, but this time, her expression was slightly different. Her (e/c) (shape) eyes were lost ahead of her, on the horizon, and although there was a bit of distress in them, they actually looked... tranquil. She looked tranquil. Despite her frown and pursed lips, and despite her hands tightening both on the beach towel over the deckchair she was on, and on her leg over her usual long and baggy trousers.

The sea breeze blew once again, throwing a bit of her hair into the wind, and once again, Kakashi couldn't help but look up from his book to look at her. He, of course, noticed all these little things in her expression. He could see how she was looking at their friends, how she saw Gai, Anko, and Yamato playing on the sand and splashing water with each other, and how Asuma and Kurenai were swimming together more calmly a bit further away. Kakashi could see how much she wanted to be a part of it too, how much she wanted to get inside the sea as well. But he also noticed how much she hated herself for not doing it. Just then she looked down, away from the sea.

"You don't need to stay with me," she said, looking at a sandcastle that Gai had done earlier on. She seemed almost bothered, although it probably was her way of disguising that she felt bad for him not having fun in order not to leave her alone on the shore.

"I'm not," Kakashi answered, surprised that she still thought he was under the same sunshade just because he didn't want to leave her alone "I prefer to read," he added, slightly shaking the book she hel with one hand. She slightly turned to look at him with an arched brow, still unsure "It has a good plot," he added, for some reason slightly nervous under her stare. Especially when she looked at him with that inquiring frown and eyes. She meditated about it, and in the end, she turned her whole body to the side, to him.

"What is it about?" Kakashi's eyes widened again, this time for another reason. But it wasn't like she didn't know what kind of books he read.

"A ninja gets kidnapped, and his torturer helps him flee. They fall in love with each other but the boy's country wants her dead so it's complicated," he resumed the plot without giving any spoilers that weren't already on the actual back cover of the book. She tilted her head, not expecting the plot to actually sound interesting.

"Can I?" she asked, reaching out her hand. She wanted to take a better look at the book. He gulped, but he handed her the purple novel.

She looked at the cover with pale figures of the pair Kakashi had described, and then she opened it where Kakashi was reading.

"Her lips and tongue started to vibrate around my manhood as she started humming. I moaned again, this time loudly, and one of the hands that were pressing against my frown went to her face on its own"

(Y/n) couldn't help but smirk at the lines, although she was also slightly compelled to keep reading. She didn't though, because she would also start feeling flustered. Instead, she moved her gaze pass the book to Kakashi, and when he saw her almost mischievous eyes —her smile was hidden by the book —he gulped, feeling his cheeks heat up under his mask. Although he blushed more, and for a different reason, when she closed the book and he could actually see her smile.

"Kinky~" she teased him, handing him the book back. He bit his lip, blushing, but at the same time, he felt somewhat weird inside, a way he had never felt, especially not when people knew or read what he read.
