Two days have passed and Taiyo was released from the hospital, the incident with Itachi had left him stunned at his power and what he did to Sasuke. The boy checked up on both Sasuke and Kakashi to make sure they're alright, but nothing has changed with them and they are still in a catatonic state, he has seen Sakura in Sasuke's room almost everyday and he was glad for that.

Taiyo has been walking around the village for a while because he was told not to train by the doctors so he is very bored.
???: Hey Taiyo!
The boy looked over to see Ino approaching him with a big smile.
Taiyo: (Smiles) Oh hey Ino, what's up?
Ino: (Pout) Did you forget something?
Taiyo: (Confused) What do you mean?
Ino: (Angry) You promised you would go on a date with me!
Taiyo: (Backs away) Oh right, I seriously forgot about that with what's happened lately, silly me
Ino: (Smiles) Well it's alright because we could right now
Taiyo: Sure, where would you like to go?
Ino: I was thinking we should go to that dumpling place you like
Taiyo: (Smiles) Sounds good to me
(Dumpling Shop)
The two arrived at the dumpling shop and ordered the kind of dumpling they want, they got their food and sat at a table.
Ino: So tell me, how's it going?
Taiyo: Well not so good
Ino: (Smile drops) What happened?
Taiyo: (Serious) Itachi, Sasuke's older brother, returned to the village and attacked my Sensei then went to attack Naruto. Me and Sasuke went after Itachi, but he and his teammate massacred us and Sasuke was put into catatonic state
Ino: Oh my god, it seems like you guys can't catch a break. First the Wave mission, the Chunin Exams, fighting Gaara, and now this
Taiyo: (Smirks) Ninja life, am I right?
Ino: Hehe
The continued to eat their food and after they finished the two left.
Taiyo: You wanna do anything else?
Ino: I can't think of anything else to do
Taiyo: (Smiles) I have an idea so close your eyes
The girl closed her eyes and Taiyo scooped her up bridal style and zoomed off to his location.
Ino: Ahhhhhhh, what the hell is happening?!
Taiyo: You can open your eyes now
The blonde girl opened her eyes and saw that they were on top of the Hokage Mountain, specifically on Hashirama's head.
Ino: (Amazed) Wow, how did we get here so fast?
Taiyo: I've been training my speed, but anyway I brought us here for the great view and to relax
Ino: That sounds great! ("He's being romantic")
The two sat down and admired the view of the village, the two looked at each other and smiled. The distance between them grew smaller and smaller, their eyes closed and their lips touched for the first time. They felt fireworks course through them and when they pulled back their foreheads were still connected.
Taiyo: (Smiles) Well damn
Ino: (Also smiles) Couldn't agree more. (Looks into his eyes) I really like you, Taiyo, I have since we were kids
