I woke up With Danny beside me blood dripping from his nose,
"You ran into a wall or something?" I said laughing at him.
"Dude it's gotta be those berries. We're the only ones sick."
I pause....did I do this? I saw a bird eat one I assumed they were edible.
"I'm so sorry I had no idea."
"It's fine bro don't stress it. We're not dead yet."
Not dead physically but I already felt like I was. my heads pounding, my feet swelling, I'm so weak i cant even hold myself up. Tears formed in my eyes and it stung.
"Yo bro wtf?!" Danny looked at me as if he had seen a ghost.
"What? Have you never shed a tear before?"
"That's no fucking tear man!"
I wipe my face with my hand and blood stains my fingers. Just then Maddi and Lianna walk into the room.
"Oh good AJ you're up!" Maddi said with excitement. "Woah...." She said shortly after.
"Danny had the same thing only his nose was bleeding not his eyes."
"Oh my- I can't see!" I panicked. My eyes were full of blood it came pouring like a waterfall.
"Hold your head back! hold your head back!" Lianna said pushing my head against the pillow. She had me hold tissues against the side of my face until the bleeding stopped shortly after.
"Holy shit are we dying?!" Danny panicked.
"No you're not dying but AJ seems to have it worse."
"Yeah cuz he ate more berries than I did I only had like one."
"OMG that's right! The berries! Umm....I don't believe there would be anything to help food poisoning on a boat...I'm sorry boys but we're just gonna have to wait this out."
"Umm Lianna idk if you've noticed but there's blood pouring out of Ajs eyes and Danny's nose." Maddi pointed out the obvious in concern
"I did notice that but if it's food poisoning it would hopefully wash out of their system."
"Guys...." I said barely being able to speak. All of a sudden I felt faint again. I felt weary. Weak. Cold blood. My head was spinning. I couldn't make out what Maddi and Lianna were saying to me, becuase before they can complete their sentence my eyes rolled back as I blacked out. Did I die?
