With a graceful descent, the Dragon landed between Azog and Thorin, its fiery eyes set on the Pale Orc in a blaze of searing heat. The ground trembled beneath their feet as the Dragon asserted its dominance, its eyes glowing with a pearl of ancient wisdom. The beast bared its pearly teeth with a snarl, before releasing an earthshaking roar that echoed through the valley.

Azog, consumed by rage, raised his sword in a desperate attempt to regain control. But the Dragon's towering presence proved unconquerable. With a mighty flick of its tail, Azog was sent hurtling through the air, crashing into the unforgiving rocks.

The Dragon's gaze shifted to the remaining Orcs, its eyes seeping with a hunger for destruction. As it prepared to unleash its fiery wrath upon the scene, its belly and neck began to glow with a golden radiance. Flames engulfed the surroundings, causing the Wargs to whimper in pain.

Bilbo's heart raced like a hummingbird's wings as he beheld the awe-inspiring spectacle. Amidst the chaos, he almost missed the arrival of other winged creatures coming to their aid.
The Great Eagles descended from the sky, their piercing shrieks echoing through the air, a beacon of hope. They swooped down low, snatching up Wargs and Orcs, hurling them off the cliff's edge, freeing the Dwarves from their remaining foes. The thunderous beat of their wings aided the Dragon's fiery onslaught, engulfing the Wargs in its flames. Soon, the rest of the Company was lifted onto the Eagles' backs, carrying them to safety through the skies.

The Dragon turned its attention back to the scene, now facing an unconscious Thorin and a petrified Bilbo, who had fallen to the ground. It advanced, causing Bilbo to crawl back in terror. To his immense relief, the beast showed no interest in him. Instead, with the utmost care, the Dragon gently wrapped its talon around the Dwarf King. Spreading its colossal wings, it slowly ascended into the air, Thorin's oaken shield slipping from his grasp as he was lifted with a gentle grace.

"No!" The young prince's anguished cry pierced the air as he helplessly watched his beloved uncle being carried away by the clutches of the merciless Dragon.
Fili's desperate plea, however, unexpectedly caught the attention of the colossal creature, causing it to abruptly halt its flight and hover menacingly in mid-air. In that intense moment, Fili found himself locked in the gaze of the Dragon, his heart pounding in his chest.

As their eyes locked, a flicker of recognition danced within Fili's mind. He knew those eyes, those piercing orbs of gold, those were eyes that he has gazed within before. Yet, before he could fully comprehend the significance of this revelation, Fili felt himself being swiftly lifted off the ground, carried by the strong talons of an Eagle. With a sudden jolt, he found himself swiftly transferred onto the back of another Eagle, leaving him bewildered and unable to fully grasp the magnitude of what he had just witnessed.
