Chapter 25

Fiancee

I got chills after hearing his voice. He is inside of his room. I could see it from his background. Puro itim na pader at mga gamit din nito sa kwarto. He was already laying on the bed. My eyes narrowed when he move his phone and I saw his bare face. Umupo ito at sumandal sa headboard ng kama. Kaya nakikita ko ang kalahati ng katawan niya na hubad. 

"Are you mad?" He ask while touching his messy hair.

"No, may ginawa rin naman ako kanina."

Liar! Halos sugurin mo na nga siya kanina, Eris! Napangisi siya habang pinagmamasdan ako. My face heated for no apparent reason. I averted my eyes to the strap that fell on my shoulder. Itinaas ko muna iyon.

"Damn!" Dinig kong mura ni Silas.

Kunot ang noo ko na napalingon sa kanya. Kagat ang labi nito at halos hindi makatingin ng diretso sa akin. Mas lalo lang ako na nagulahan sa inaasta niya.

"What's the problem?" Tanong ko habang inaayos ang nagulo kong buhok.

"Nothing... I'm just..." Pumikit siya kaya naghintay ako ng idudugtong niya.

"Never mind." He looked away.

The cold wind from the window made me shiver a bit. Nakabukas kasi iyon kaya pumapasok sa loob ng kwarto ko ang hangin. And I'm just wearing a sleeveless night dress. Binaba ko muna ang cellphone sa kama. Inabot ko ang bintana at isinara iyon. I also move the curtains from the corner.

I found Silas still looking at the camera even he didn't see me. Napaayos ito nang makita na ako. Tumikhim ito habang pinaglalaruan ang buhok.

"Palagi bang nakabukas ang bintana sa kwarto mo?" His hand went to his mouth while waiting me to answer.

"Minsan lang naman. Naiinitan kasi ako kaya binuksan ko."

Well not tonight because it's so cold. Dagdag pa na umulan kanina kaya sobrang lamig talaga. I can still feel the cold even I closed already the window. I just put a blanket to cover my body. Nakita iyon ni Silas kaya napatikhim siya at napataas ang kilay na nakatingin sa akin.

"You should wear a jacket." He suggested.

His deep and cold voice made me sleepy. Na tila henehele ako nito sa pagtulog. Napatagilid ako sa kama dahil sumakit na ang kamay ko sa kakahawak sa cellphone.

"Hindi na, nasa bahay lang naman ako." I yawned.

"You're sleepy." I heard Silas before my eyelids drooped. 

Halos mapatalon ako sa kama nang magising na umaga na. Shit! Nakatulugan ko si Silas kagabi?! Agad kong hinanap ang cellphone pero lowbat na ito nang makita ko. I tilted my head.

My lips parted in surprised when I saw Silas holding a big bouquet in his hand while walking near to me. Kakapasok ko lang sa loob at sinalubong naman ako nito. We were inside the OG. It's one of a famous coffee shop in Roxas. My eyes scanned the whole place but I can't find any customers except for us and the staffs.

It's our second monthsarry today but I didn't even prepare a simple gift for him. Habang siya ay todo effort para mapasaya lang ako. Agad na napunta ang kamay niya sa bewang ko nang makalapit siya sa akin. I kissed him at his cheeks before we walk together to the table. The interior design of the coffee shop is aesthetic. The reason I'm not wondering why people love this place. Medyo mainit nga lang sa loob.

"Ang ganda ganda talaga ng girlfriend ko." My cheek turn into crimson.

Mahinang sinapak ko siya sa braso ngunit tumawa lang ito. Ipinanghila niya ako ng upuan. I seated to the wooden chair. He gave the bouquet he was holding earlier. A small smile escaped from my lips when I smell the flowers. I can't still believe that we are celebrating our second monthsarry right now. Para'ng dati lang ay inis na inis pa ako sa kanya. Pero kita mo nga naman ngayon kilig na kilig na.
