Before I could even understand what was happening right now and why my boss was locked in the bathroom with me, Neil's lips were on me. His stubble was rough against my jaw, lips claiming mine roughly before I snapped out of it and reciprocated the kiss, as if out of instinct. Our lips moved in tandem, tongues swiping out for a taste before Neil's mouth descended down on my throat. His teeth scraped against my skin as I panted, chest heaving with labored breaths. I could feel the same passion between us that I'd felt the first night. The same chemistry. It was hard not to give into this man. He was downright sinful and a danger to my lady parts. His pained groan was what brought me back to my senses as I pushed away from him. I took a minute, looking at my swollen lips in the mirror before looking at him.

"Don't." He warned, hair mussed up as he pushed his fingers through the once perfectly coiffed strands. "Don't tell me that this shouldn't have happened."

I immediately shut my mouth, at a loss as to what to say. I wasn't going to deny that that kiss hadn't felt good after thinking about him for weeks. But I also didn't want to risk this job nor his position as CEO. What would people say if they saw us like this? They'd obviously blame the woman first and slut shame her. I think I was okay with not repeating that experience all over again.

"One night." He said in an almost pleading voice. "Just give me one more night with you. Nothing more."

"But -

"We don't even have to declare anything to HR since it won't be a relationship." He barrelled on, completely ignoring what I was about to say. "One night, Aaliya. That's all I'm asking. I know you want it too." He took a step closer, dark eyes roving over my face before he pressed a chaste kiss to my lips. "There's no point in denying what we both want. Think about it."

And with that, he was gone. As if he just hadn't cornered me in a dingy bathroom in a bar - and during fucking happy hour, of all times.

"What took you so long?" Mira's voice made me flinch, as if the damning evidence that I'd just kissed my boss was there for everyone to see. Neil wasn't to be seen anywhere. That wasn't supposed to send a pang of disappointment through me, but it still did.

"Yeah, Aaliya, I thought you were going to let me buy you a drink?" Tedd - or Todd - or whatever his name was, said slyly. He'd been flirting with me all night and had actually asked me out on a double date. I didn't want to say no to him in the first go, so I thought I'd humor him for a while. It was just going to be a couple of drinks, right? Wrong. It had been the worst decision ever. To add to matters, his other friend - who was supposed to be Mira's date - was currently ogling some other woman. Fanfuckingtastic.

"Sure." I said with a tight smile as Teddy got up to go to the bar.

"I saw Neil go after you in the bathroom. What's going on there?" Mira whispered to me, sipping on her drink as one of our other colleagues chatted up a nice lady on the table beside ours.
