Elena and her friends graduated college and got jobs as they wanted to be. Tyler decided to become a fitness trainer. Elena got a job as an editor. Caroline got a job as a singer. Bonnie became a nurse at the hospital. Stefan is working on the first book. Jeremy started college and he wants to become a movie director. jeremy major is art. Emma decided to get a degree in history with a minor in folklore. Jenna and Alaric decided to have a small wedding. Elena and Stefan have gone two times by now to visit their goddaughter. Their goddaughter's name is Hope. The Mikaelsons are getting help with all of the issues they had. Klaus and Elijah finally forgave each other and stopped hating each other. Faith stays in town but she doesn't talk to Elena and her friends anymore. Bonnie finally told Damon how she felt about him. Lexi left to go back to New York. She got annoyed at Damon for being too nice to her. She tried to get used to the new demon but she couldn't take it anymore. She and Mark moved back to their place in  New York.

At the boarding house

Elena: Hey Bonnie you want to get some coffee

Bonnie: I'm gonna get some sleep I got a night shift tonight

Elena: ok

Elena walked into her and Stefan's room

Elena: Babe do you want to get coffee with me?

Stefan: I would love to but I'm behind a chapter for the book

Elena: ok

Elena walked out of the room

Elena called Caroline

Elena hey care do you want to get coffee with me?

Caroline,  I got work in a few minutes

Elena ok

Elena walked to get coffee by herself

At the coffee shop

Elena ordered her coffee then sat at a table and waited for her name to be called to get it. Elena was in her thoughts when she noticed Damon sitting in front of her

Elena: Damon what are you doing here?

Damon: It seems like you need someone to talk to. plus I know you wanted to sit and talk to one of your friends.

Elena: ok thanks

They called for Elena's name she got up and got her coffee

Damon: I know it this weird for you to talk to me like this without my brother or your friends being around

Elena: you got that right

Damon: well I'm here because I wanted to talk to you about something

Elena: Like?

Damon: I thinking about getting Bonnie a promise ring and I need help planning out how to give it to her

Elena: I will help you but did you get the ring yet?

Damon: no I don't know what type of gem she likes she has a lot of crystals and I don't know which one is her favorite one

Elena: I think it's rose quart  right now

Damon: how about I find out then we'll talk more about planning this out

Elena: I have a question

Damon: What's up?

Elena: If Bonnie asked you to turn her, would you do it?
