Tommy Pov

Four Years Later

"You know what, fuck you. You're a heartless bastard Tommy. I'm out of here." Whats her face started grabbing her close. I contemplated letting her make it until she got violent. She threw a shoe at me. Why when you tell a woman you just want to fuck, they accept it until they see that you really don't give a fuck about them, and they will never change you. I've had several women to try and change me. To see who will be that one that will make me fall in love with them. So what's about to befall her is totally her fault.

I grabbed her by her throat and slammed her on the floor. I put my knee on her chest and squeezed harder. I choked her until life left her eyes. I looked deep into them. Making sure I didn't miss the light that's going out in them.

When Nan came in, I said, "Incinerator."

I went to my bathroom, took a shower then got ready for my Gala. As my ma predicted. I opened my own gallery. Come to find out the paintings that Hause was selling were mostly fake. Not all but most. It was a cover. The person would choose a painting size and that let Hause know how much drugs they wanted. I used to wonder why he would charge millions for certain paintings that were nowhere near worth that much.

But I didn't want that. I wanted to sell real art. And not just any art. Shit that was hard to get. T.J or Tobias as he likes to be called now is very good at finding paintings. Once, he found me a real-life Picasso. It was stolen from a Sultan. I had to have a private auction to sell that. Word spread fast after that. Everyone knows that I'm the one to come to for rare finds. I can find a needle in a haystack, but I can't for the life of me find Sasha.

As it turns out. Her dad was a bouncer. Different elite clubs would fly him out so he could work for them. After the job was finished, he would move on. I've been closed several times. So close that I smelled her perfume that I bought her.

Despite my every effort. I can't let her go. I will find her. She has four years of negligence to catch up on.

When I made it to my Gala it was in full swing. Contrary to most businessmen. I'm always late. I sleep in and I'm never in a rush. I do respect people's time, but they also need to respect mine. And if they want to do business with me, they have to keep vampire hours.

It took me a while but I'm here. Some still look at me as nothing more than Latino trash, but those people that say that are too broke to buy tickets to my Gala, so I refuse to let a nobody talk down on me. Every move I make is a power move. I looked around and didn't see the one person that I wanted to see. I called him. "Where are you?"

"Don't think I can make it tonight, dear boy."

"Why not." Hause has been acting really funny with me lately. Withdrawn. Nervous. Like he's hiding something from me.

"I promise I will tell you in due time. Just know that I've always had your best interest in mind. You've been like a son to me."

"I'm coming over."

"No, I'm good. You and I will talk soon. I promise. For now, you stay there and make power moves as you say."

I smirked. "I don't like anyone I deal with to keep information from me."

"That's why when I come back, we'll talk. I need you to run my gallery for me until I come back."

"Done."

My crew entered the gallery in nothing but the best tuxedos. If I could, I would slow this moment down. I smiled at my boys. I wouldn't trade them for nothing.

As usual, I get right down to business. "Tobais. In addition to here. I need you to take over Hause's account receivables until he returns."

"Sure, where's he going?"
