Kie got up and walked to the window, tapping on it,
She whispered" Hey, Hey. I need to talk to Mr. Singh. Hey, go get Mr. Singh."
Rafe said" What are you doing?"
" Hey, you! I need to talk to Mr. Singh."
" Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Hey. What the hell are you doing?"
" Like I owe you an explanation." She walked away from him, I got up and followed her,
" Think for a second! Kie, what are you doing?" She hit the door,
" Hello?"
" Hey! What are you doing?"
" Don't talk to me!"
" You're lying about this diary thing. You know where it is."
" No, I don't."
" You don't? Okay."
" You wish."
" Okay, listen, I wouldn't tell me either."
" Hey!"
" But he's never gonna believe we don't know something, alright? Singh killed that-" He got way too close for comfort,
" Hey!"
" Look around, Kie. I'm the only friend you got." The door unlocked and the guard came in, Kie walked to him,
" I need to talk to Mr. Singh. I have something to tell him. It's urgent." I walked to her,
The guard said" Yes." He grabbed her arm and led her out,
I said" Kie? Hey, hey, I gotta go with her!" He closed the door," Kie! Hey! Hey! Let me out! Kie?!" I breathed heavily, and hit the door, I screamed" Hey! Let me out! Kie!" I dug my fingers into my hair, pacing,
Rafe said" Kai-"
" Shut up!" I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to breathe but I couldn't catch my breath.

Kie came back in, she sat on the bed with her head in her hands,
I said" Kie, are you okay?"
Rafe said" What happened?" I crouched in front of her, trying to get a look at her face," You're gonna have to talk to me at some point. Okay?"
" Rafe..." I stood up, leaning against the bed post,
Kie said" Do I have to remind you of everything you've done? You killed Peterkin. Do you remember that? And everything you've put Sarah through."
Rafe said" I was protecting my father, okay? I did what I had to, so... don't. I'm as much a victim as she is." Kie and I looked at him, I arched my eyebrow," No? Think about it. Okay? What did I get from shooting Peterkin, huh? Nothing. Okay? I had nothing against her. I mean, I... I... I liked her. You think I wanted to make that choice, huh? What I did was a gift from me to my father for... for him, and I got screwed because of it, okay? So don't get that look when I say I'm a victim, alright? I am! I will admit, though, what I... what I did to Sarah... what I tried to do, um... what I tried to do to Sarah, I admit that was wrong. I know that. Alright? So you don't have to remind me." He sobbed, hitting his head, I rolled my eyes," She was family. I should've never touched her, you know? I should've never touched her, but, you know, I just lose control in moments like that, and I don't know what happened. I'm trying... I'm trying to get better."
" Yeah."
" Okay? It doesn't matter. All I'm saying is just that I'm not the bad guy you think I am, okay? But even if I was, even if I was just, like, bad Rafe Cameron or something... you got no choice. You may- You may not want to trust me, okay, but I'm your best bet." He crouched down," Look. I got a boat that can get us off island, okay? But first, we gotta get out of here, and it is better if we work together." I heard a vehicle, then we walked to the window and looked out, the guards were leaving.
" They're going to find John B and your sister."
" Sucks for them. That's good for us though. This may be our only shot at getting out of here." I looked at Kie, he's not wrong but damn do I wish he was.

Kie yelled" Get away from me!"
I yelled" Touch her, you're dead!"
Rafe yelled" I'm tired of this shit. I'm gonna kill you, Kie, Kai!" We broke some stuff,
Kie yelled" Help!" Rafe and I hid behind the door as Kie laid in the tub,
The guard said" What be this?" Then Rafe knocked him with the door and punched him, then broke a lamp on his back. Kie grabbed the gun,
Rafe said" Stay down! Stay down, you understand? Stay down." Kie pointed the gun at him,
Kie said" Don't move!"
Guard said" Huge mistake. You'll regret this."
Rafe said" Hey, gimme the phone." I pulled the curtain from the bed,
I said" Tie him up."
" Don't move."
Kie said" Okay, okay, okay."
" Don't make a sound, alright?" We walked out of the room and Rafe locked it," This way. Come on." We walked down stairs,
" Okay, hey. Hey. Hey, Rafe. Rafe. Rafe, Rafe, Rafe."
" What?"
" Hey, hey, let me see the phone."
" Why?"
" Just give it to me."
" Okay. Give me the gun. You ready?" He opened the door and there was a guard posted at the front," Shit. Okay, this way, this way, this way." Kie and I walked the other way, and she took a pic of the painting we noticed." Come on. Kie, Kai, what are you doing? Let's go! Come on!"
" Hold on!" She sent it to her email,
" Kie, come on!" We walked out another door, and outside, I kept Kie in front of me, I knew she could protect herself but damn, if anything happens to her and I couldn't stop it... Kie peeked over the top of the fence," Can you see?"
" I got an idea. Come on, come on!" She grabbed my hand and we started running as fast as we could. We kept pace with the truck," They're slowing down. Come on, come on!" We climbed up a little hill,
" Go, go, go, go, go, go."
I said" Kie, get on." She jumped and grabbed onto the back, I jumped on after her, then Rafe did, we saw a guy. Rafe attacked him, punching him way more than needed, I kept Kie backed into the corner,
Kie said" Rafe!" Rafe threw him off the truck, I looked at Rafe, he's still crazy.
