Jayla's POV:
I was at Target with my Mother and Little sister searching for new umbrellas since it was April and spring season. To be honest, I don't even know why I had to come along I coulda just stayed in the house while My mom and Tia went shopping (Lazy ass)
I groaned in boredom, dragging my foot as I walked. "Mommy can I get this doll it's so pretty!" Tia asked.
"No Tia you have enough dolls already" Mom said.
"Please Mommy I really really want it!" Tia begged.
Mom sighs and says "Tia listen to me, we came in this store to buy Umbrellas not Dolls. You will get some more toys for Christmas but for right now you have to wait" Mom said sternly. "But-" Tia said. " No buts, you can't have everything you want that's not how life works" Mom said and continued to roll the cart.
We then come across the Umbrella aisle. There were umbrellas with polka dot patterns, bright pink, purple, and torquoise umbrellas some even had stripes or zig zags. 'So babyish' I thought. "Here Jayla pick the one you want so we can go" My mother said. I walked over to the shelf and picked a plain black umbrella since I didn't want any of the "baby" umbrellas. We got our umbrellas and got in line to pay.

I got home and went upstairs to my room. I took my shoes off and jumped on my bed in exhaustion. Come to think of it, me and Riyah haven't hung out inna while. Well mostly because of school but, I wanted to spend some time with her since we only see each other at school. I decided to text her to see if she wanted to hang out (Of course I hafta ask my mom first lol) I went to her contact and messaged her.

Riyah: Hey Jae Jae lol
Me: You wanna hang out this
Saturday?
Riyah: Now Jae Jae yk we
gotta ask our moms first

Me: No kidding 😑

I shut my phone off and got outta bed, walking over to my dresser to pick out some PJ'S. I chose a black and purple T-shirt and Trouser set with polka dot patterns (babyish ik but I was too tired to pick something else) I got my skincare set and went over to my body wash and shea butter scrub set too in which I had a variety. 'I think coconut will be a great smell' I thought. I chose an ultra moisture coconut scented body wash, a coconut scented shea butter scrub from Tree Hut, a coconut scented body spray, and lastly a coconut scented perfume. (Cringey)
I got my clothes and went to the bathroom, I grabbed a towel off the rack and connected my phone to my speaker playing "Marvin's Room" by Drake.
