CHICAGO IL,
MARIYAH'S CRIBMariyah's POV:
'Great just great' I thought as I jumped in my bed, stuffing my head in my pillow. 'I was only absent for one day and look what happened' I thought, rolling my eyes. "MARIYAH MICHELLE WALKER!!" I heard my mother yell from downstairs. 'Oh shit I'm gonna die lord please spare me today' I thought anxiously as I got outta bed and slowly walked to the door. "Yes ma?..." I mumbled.
"COME DOWN HERE NOW!" She roared. When I tell I almost pissed myself, I was rethinking life 😩.I walked downstairs where I saw her in the living room, sitting on the couch. "Sit down" she said in a stern voice. I slowly walked over to the couch and sat down. "So, you wanna explain to me why I got a call from school sayin' that you got suspended?.." she asked. I sat there in silence for a few moments until she spoke again. "Do you realize that I letchu skip a day of school yesterday to throw you a party? I hardly ever letchu skip school?" She added. "Yes..." I mumbled. "I threw you a party yesterday and this is how you act when you come back to school?" She asked. "I'm sorry ma, it wasn't my fault" I responded. "Then whose fault is it? because if I remember correctly this happened before, the first time you got suspended" She said.
I explained to her that me and Jae Jae where just minding our business eating lunch and then Tasha and her friends or follows whateva you wanna call me em' decided to bother us by walking to our table and trynna start some fake rumors by saying that out of all the times we "fought"she won, which in reality she was talking about herself because every "fight" she claim we had she got beat up or dragged every time so she was clearly meant to sub herself on IG but just didn't wanna admit that she lost.
"Mariyah you hafta understand that not every thing requires violence, you hafta learn to ignore her" She said as she looked at me. " But ma she started it?!" I exclaimed. "It doesn't matter, it's June now and you don't wanna spend your summer break in school which is why I make sure you go to school everyday so you won't have anything bad on your record" She replied.
"*sigh* I know..." I mumbled. "I'm not trying to be hard on you Mariyah but remember I'm the one paying for your education and Adams so I don't want all my hard earned money to go to waste" she says sympathetically. "You're not a bad kid so I don't wanna ever hafta hear that you got suspended" she added. "Alright..sorry ma it won't happen again" I said. "Alright now you betta make sure of it now get your clothes ready for school tomorrow" she said smirking. "Right..." I replied, getting off the couch and heading upstairs.
