Jayla's POV:

Today's my besties birthday and we're so excited for it and everything we have planned. First we were gonna wear matching outfits and the same hairstyle and then my mother was gonna take us to the nail salon to get our nails done, and lastly we were gonna have a big party.

I grab my phone from my nightstand and decided to FaceTime her.

"Hello?" she says in a sleepy voice. "HAPPYYY BIRTHDAYY BESTIE!!!" I shout into the phone.
"AHHH" she screams startled and falls outta her bed. "Oops" I giggled. I hear her get up as she winced in pain "Oww Jae Jae what the hell" she mumbled rubbing her side. "Oh ma fault fren"
I said wiping a tear from cheek. "Anyways get up birthday girl cuz we got big plans today" I said. "Oh right we do ooou this finna be fun" She said in excitement.

"I got my outfit you got yours right?" I said sitting up from the bed. "Fasho bestie you know the vibe" she
replied laughing in the phone. "Ight so when the party start?" I asked. "Bout 7:30" she replied. "Good thing our moms let us skip a day since you know how strict they be about school" I said giggling. "I know that's right, it could be a tornado outside and they still making us get up for school" she giggled back.

"Well anyways lemme get up and freshen up right quick cuz even though the party don't start till later we do gotta get our nails done and do a lil shopping no what I'm sayin?" I said. "Right but until then we'll just wear casual clothes in then save the birthday outfits for the party" she said. "Right makes since" I said. "Ok let's get dressed then we'll talk later" she said. "ight" I said and hung up.

I get up from bed and walk over to my dresser, grabbing my skincare and hygiene. I grab all my stuff and go in the bathroom, turning the sink on and began brushing my teeth.

Mariyah's POV:

Today's my birthday and I'm SO EXCITED EEEEK, me and Jae Jae gonna have so much fun. Over the last week of May, my mom has been making preparations for my party and now since it's June we finally get to celebrate since that's all me and Jae Jae been talking about. We decided that we were gonna get matching outfits, the same hairstyle, and pretty nail sets at the salon which Jae Jae's mom is gonna take us since my mom is adding finishing touches to my gifts so she's still a little busy.

The party starts at 7:30 so right now we're just putting on casual clothes to do some last minute shopping as apart of my gifts and we also hafta get our nails done.

I can't believe I'm 17 years old it feels so weird not that weird since I was just 16 so it'll be just like 16 but instead of a 6 it'll be a 7 added on my age.

Anyways I get outta bed and walk over to my dresser, picking out some casual clothes like basic blue jeans, a light purple crop top, and my purple Jordan 13's. I decided to use another favorite body wash of mine which is Caress. I followed up with my EOS Jasmine Peach Lotion, a peach scented body scrub and my Fizzy Peach Perfume from Victoria Secret.

I headed straight to my bathroom and grabbed a towel off the rack, turning on the water and opening the curtain.

Okay now that I'm all dressed, it's time to call my bestie back to see what she's doing, she's probably just excited as I am. I grab my phone off my bed and FaceTime her. "Yerrr" she said. "You ready?" I said. " Of course I am you already know" she said, rolling her eyes playfully. "Ight just making sure" I said. We stare at each other for a few seconds and start dying laughing. "Stop jae jae omg you play too much" I said cracking up. "Girllll I'm just laughin atchu" she replied laughing.

"Anyways we gotta go shopping, your mom's gonna pick me up remember?" I said. "Right I'm boutta let her know you ready" she replied.

"Ight I'm boutta grab my purse and charger and we outta here" I said. "Ight we onna way" she said and hung up.

"Yo I really like this bath bomb I think it smells magnificent" she said. "Where? lemme see" I said. "Hm" she said and put the bath bomb towards my nose. "It smell decent but not too crazy" I said. "Mcht you sucha hater Jae Jae" she said, putting the bath bomb back. "Well nah if you wanna get it that's fine, I was just sayin it smell ight dats all" I replied. "Nah if youn like it ion like it plus it cost too much anyway" she said as we walked to another aisle.

"Ight so what all we gettin?" I said, walking into the perfume section. "Well I wanted some new perfume so I guess I'll check them out" she replied, reaching for a bottle. "I kinda like the Pear Glacé hm smells like Paris" I joked. "LMAOOO girl i know i like that one too" she said. "OH MY GOD THE KISS CRUSH I BEEN LOOKIN FOR DAT ONE" she exlcaimed.

"Well? get it" I said. "Ight bet" she replied. "Hmm I wonder if they have lotion too?" I asked. "Ummm it should be right there at the bottom" she said, pointing to the bottom of the rack. "Right right" I said, and crouched to look for the lotion.

~5:53pm~

I just got done doing some last minute shopping with Jae Jae and now I'm finna watch some TV for an hour until the party start which is at 7:30.

I'm mad comfy right now so I'm finna just watch some Love&Hip Hop to kill some time.

Y'all I feel like this chapter was a lil TOO long but DON'T WORRY ima make a part two 😉

ALSO I forgot to mention they did get their nails done while they were out and they look so pretty
