FRIDAY:

Mariyah's POV:

Today is Friday Which means we have that stupid homework due. I don't even wanna go to school today especially after what happened Tuesday. All I wanna do is stay in bed and sleep but obviously I know that's not gonna happen. I huffed and got outta bed, walking out my room in a slow pace. I went downstairs but saw that no one was home.

'Hmm that's weird' I thought as I went to the kitchen. I go in the kitchen and was met with a note on the fridge. 'If you're wonderin' where I am I hadda go run a few errands and dropped your brother off at school. Make sure you get up and get ready fa school and make sure all my doors is locked until I get back' The note read. 'typical black mom' I thought. I opened the fridge and got a yogurt and banana out since I didn't have time to eat much.

I sat down at the table and ate (It's 7:55 If your wondering she has to be at school by 9:00) I hurried up to my room to get dressed. I picked out a Pink velvet tracksuit and (pink) Active Fuchsia Dunk Lows. I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom, connecting my phone to my speaker and playing "Promises" by Jhené Aiko. (Love her music)

Jae Jae texted me yesterday asking me if I wanted to hang out this Saturday and obviously I couldn't say no. Me and Jae Jae haven't been able to hang out because of school and Saturday was the perfect opportunity to catch up. I'm thinking we should go to the Mall or some where near our houses. We could even go to a Theater to see a Movie or something just something close to where we live so our Moms won't freak out.

After I was done showering, I dried my hair off and quickly got dressed. I had already eaten so I didn't hafta worry about eating breakfast. I put my hair inna bun and went downstairs, leaving out the door on my way to school.
