[Rukawa x Y/n] Win For You

Chapter 22

Y/n's pov

'Yes. No more questions. You are already annoying me enough.' you open the door to see Rukawa's back towards you, him facing the three of your friends in front of your house. 

'This sucks.' you say, looking between the four of them. 'I probably explain everything better than him.'  you add, trying to fix whatever mess Rukawa had made with little sympathy he had for his "followers". Rukawa shuts his mouth finally, walking down the small stairs towards his bike. 

'It's okay. We knew it was going to happen at some point.' Haruko says without much emotion, although you see that she's disappointed. 'I'm not sad or jealous of you. You don't have to worry about that.' she says as if to reply to your confused concerned face, you shifting your gaze to glare at Rukawa undoing his lock on his bike in the distance. 

'Right.' you say awkwardly, pulling at your bag strap awkwardly. 

'Unsure why you both like him, but-' she says again, except Fujie pokes her in the side she stops, looking between Haruko and you. 

'I don't!' you shout, Rukawa turning to face you with a blank expression. 'I mean, I don't want you being weird about it.' you say again, Rukawa going back to take out two helmets from the basket in front. 

'You mean you don't want us to annoy you for this? Oh, we will. Especially if you are abandoning us to get to school with him instead of us!' Matsui says as she tries to catch you, you running down the stairs and shoving the helmet onto your head, forcing Rukawa to pedal the bike faster as you see the three of your friends run after you both. 

'I swear I'm not abandoning you! We promised I would still walk back home with you, not him!'

> You: no

You put your phone away as your maths teacher turns around to face the class, him eyeing Rukawa staring blankly at the desk. The other people in class glance between the two of them, remembering the time when Rukawa beat up the teacher for disturbing his class, but somehow being awake today. 

'Well, Rukawa-kun. How come you are awake for my "boring and useless" lesson?' he says slowly, Rukawa only looking up from the desk blandly at the teacher. You muffle your scoff under a cough, the teacher side-eyeing you before turning his attention back to Rukawa sitting behind you.

'How about you solve this question on the board.' the teacher says, as if to try to humiliate Rukawa because he's sure that he can't solve the question. 

'No. I'm going to sleep now because I'm done talking to my girlfriend.' Rukawa says, putting his head back onto the table and hiding his face in his arms. 

You face-palm yourself. 

Squid

> You: no I'm not done talking to u

> Squid: I want to sleep

> You: you realise you have a match with Shoyo today right

> You: I also found out from Ayako senpai the other day that if u don't pass ur classes

> You: sensei won't let u play in the games after this one

> Squid: whut

> Squid: that;s not fair

> Squid: impossible

> You: why bc u are so good at basketball that they will lose without u?

> Squid: obviously

> Squid: u can't seriously think Sakuragi is better than me

> You: well my point is 

> You: STAY AWAKE to pass

> Squid: can I just copy off of ur notebook later

> You: huh why me

> Squid: I'm not asking Sakuragi or anyone else 

> Squid: they are dumber than me

> You: 💀

> You: fine

> Squid: also why is my name on ur phone "squid"

> You: bc u called ur own face squid

> You: and stop looking at my screen over my shoulder

> Squid: ? 

> Squid: change it

> You: no
