Y/N carefully handed a marker to their giggling daughter, Areum, as they both peered down at the peacefully sleeping figure of Kim Taehyung. "Okay, sweetie, just be very gentle and make sure not to wake him up," Y/N whispered with a playful smile.
Areum nodded with wide eyes, her tiny fingers gripping the marker as if it were the most precious thing in the world. She leaned over Taehyung's sleeping form, her face scrunched up in concentration as she began to draw delicate swirls and flowers on his cheek.
Y/N couldn't help but chuckle softly, watching the pure joy on their daughter's face as she carefully decorated Taehyung's features. "You're doing a great job, Areum," Y/N whispered, ruffling her hair affectionately.
Areum beamed up at Y/N, her smile infectious. "Mommy, can I draw a star on Daddy's forehead?" she asked, her eyes wide with anticipation.
"Of course, sweetheart," Y/N replied, handing her another marker. Areum carefully drew a bright yellow star on Taehyung's forehead, her face lighting up with delight as she admired her handiwork.
As they continued to draw, Taehyung stirred slightly in his sleep, a small smile playing on his lips. Y/N and Areum froze, their eyes locked on his face, waiting to see if he would wake up.
But Taehyung merely let out a soft sigh and shifted his position, still blissfully unaware of the artistic masterpiece being created on his face.
Y/N chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair away from Areum's face. "Looks like Daddy is having sweet dreams," they whispered.
Areum nodded, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Can we draw a heart on his cheek, Mommy?"
Y/N chuckled again, handing her a red marker. "Go ahead, sweetie."
With the utmost care, Areum drew a small heart on Taehyung's cheek, her smile growing even wider. "There! Now Daddy looks even more handsome!"
Y/N couldn't help but laugh at their daughter's innocence and excitement. "Yes, he does, doesn't he?"
As they finished their masterpiece, Y/N leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Taehyung's forehead. "We love you, sleepyhead," they whispered.
Areum followed suit, pressing a soft kiss on Taehyung's cheek. "Love you, Daddy!"
With their artwork complete and their love poured into every stroke of the marker, Y/N and Areum quietly slipped out of the room, leaving Taehyung to continue his peaceful slumber, completely unaware of the beautiful surprise waiting for him when he woke up.
