Disclaimer: Not sure why I even write these anymore. Don't Own Harry Potter.

AN: Ok folks, only two chapters left for third year, including this one. They will cover the years end this chapter and the lead up to the 'summer rendezvous' which is happening in the next chapter. What shenanigans will our group get into this time? Well, you'll just have to read and find out. Also, a lot of time skips this chapter as it covers until they board the express. Enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 24

Hogsmeade

One Week after Halloween

If Harry was honest with himself, he didn't think he'd be able to go to Hogsmeade, considering both Pettigrew being on the loose, and the dementors. Though Harry knew the dementors were more afraid of him than he was of them. Harry, however, was trying to fix that.....very slowly. Hey, he only killed one dementor, and that was because he was trying to kill an innocent rookie auror. Plus, seeing a dementor be afraid for once was funny, sue him for having fun with it. However, Harry was extremely pissed that Dumb-ass-dore had tried to prevent Emily from going. He tried using the 'I'm concerned for your safety' card, but a quick reminder of him not doing shit with that forged contract regarding Emily last year had shut him up.

It still brought a smile to Harry's face at Dumbledore's reaction at the subtle reminder about that shitshow. It wasn't just that memory that brought a smile to Harry's face, constantly reminding Malfoy that his dad got his ass kicked by a house elf was a laugh bringer too.

Currently, Harry was walking through Hogsmeade until he had to meet with Hermione. He passed all the usual shops, such as Zonko's and Honeydukes. However, he practically sprinted past Madam Puddifoot's tea shop. He had heard horror stories from Charlie at the reserve about that place, plus some passing conversations between upper years he happened to overhear.

Harry did go into Honeydukes and picked up a selection of chocolate for him and Hermione to share. He had debated getting peppermint mice as well, but decided that might be going a bit too far, considering Hermione is a nekomata. Though he did wonder how Hermione survived having a kitsune as a mother, considering they were basically the embodiment of mischief. Hell, if he didn't know any better, he'd say that Fred and George were descended from a kitsune. Though that was a long shot, considering the history of the Prewitt line until the end of the Victorian era. Though the Weasley line is debatable.

It wasn't much longer before he heard the clock tower at Hogwarts strike 12 o'clock. Damn that thing was loud. It was time for Harry to meet with Hermione at the Three Broomsticks. He wasn't sure why she was being so secretive about what she wanted to talk about, though he did notice that she was swaying her hips when she walked more than usual. Not that Harry minded, he enjoyed the view. It was nice seeing Hermione becoming more confident, not even caring when 'pureblood elitist's' called her a half-breed.

Harry entered the Three Broomsticks not long after the last chime of the clock, looking around for Hermione.

"Oh, Mr. Potter, Ms. Granger said you were meeting her. She booked a private room for you both, just go up the stairs and it's the first door on your right." said the owner, Madam Rosmerta.

"Thanks, Ma'am. I was actually just about to ask that." said Harry with a small bow of his head before he began heading up the stairs.

Upon reaching the door, Harry decided to do the gentlemanly thing and knock first. It wasn't even five seconds before the door opened and he was yanked inside by the front of his shirt. Harry wasn't worried about that though, as Hermione had a habit of doing that when she wanted alone time with him. Getting a good look at the beautiful nekomata, Harry's jaw dropped.
