My whole life, I have been searching for a way that would allow me to pay attention and learn something for extended periods of time without ending up watching youtube and I have finally found that way.
So I'm going to share my little secret with you guys.
I'm not the best a Biology, In junior high I was so fascinated by it but now I'm just over it... there are too many long names to remember and stuff so i've been diving down in grades...
Anyway, I have an assessment tomorrow and I knew I really had to study... But I knew I wouldn't remember anything if I studied like I normal do... So I came up with the idea of writing my study notes out like one of my stories.
I have learnt Gene Expression and How to test for microbes in food and water by simply writing them out as if I were going to publish them on wattpad.
Let me give you a preview:
"If DNA is damaged, however, Mutations occur. Mutations occur when a gene is altered and it can no longer code for the correct polypeptide. Unfortunately, most of these mutation are harmful, causing genetic and increase susceptibility of disease but some are beneficial. Not like, 'I'm hulk now!' beneficial... more like 'Natural selection will love me, Papa Darwin would be proud' kind of beneficial."
and
"Repair systems can range to involving a single enzyme in a single step process which is a direct reversal of the problem, example,enzyme photolyase... whatever that is... To a DNA mistake needing multiple steps. Sort of like maths problems... it's either 1+1 or find the circumference of this circle without using Pi..."
And I now literally feel like Einstein... Like the world makes sense now...
Look at the content you need to study and write them out in your own little creative way, entertain yourself!
My stupid little jokes, as corny as most of them are, are probably going to be getting me to graduation.
I guess we'll see tomorrow...
