"I apologize Sir, I will make sure that every employee knows the laws regarding service animals," the manager was telling Nathan as Owen stormed into the store.

"Your employees should have already known the law," Owen glared as he stormed over to Nathan, Rose, and Zeus. He straightened his tie and cleared his throat, "I assume you are the manager of this establishment?"

"Yes," the man said while straightening his back so he was standing taller.

"Then it is your responsibility to ensure that all of your employees are up to date with the federal laws regarding people with disabilities of any kind, including those with service animals. You can clearly see that this lady has a dog that is wearing his working vest and those are certified patches that the ADA does not even require this working dog to wear. While the ADA does not require a working animal to wear vests, harnesses, ID tags, or have patches on a vest, this lady has gone the extra mile to make it easier on your establishment and your employees to allow her aide to work. According to the law, your employee has no right to even ask for the certification and/or proof of her having a disability. It is discrimination to try and prevent her from using her animal or even question her need for one."

Rose tightened her grip on Nathan's hand as her chest tightened and Zeus pressed his head into her legs. "Mr. Blackbourne," Nathan mumbled as he wrapped his arm around Rose's waist.

"B..B...Blackbourne?" the man gasped, "as in–"

"That's correct," Owen glared at him, "Attorney General Owen Blackbourne and they are my clients. Now as per her service dog she is needing some medical attention, this is not over." Owen turned his back on the man who had turned three shades paler, and motioned for Nathan and Rose to leave ahead of him.

Nathan led her out to his car and opened the door, "You are doing so good, Peanut," he murmured as she got in and he reached over to buckle her in. He cupped her chin and she looked up at him. "I am very sorry if we overstepped but I couldn't let that bitch get away with that. Are you mad at me?" Zeus took the opportunity to jump into Rose's lap and rested his head on her shoulder, shoving Nathan out of the car. Nathan chuckled and shut the door right as Rose wrapped her arms around Zeus.

"Meet me at the house," Owen said as he unlocked his car, "Dr. Green wants to see if she will allow him to access her and I know more than a few of us want to inquire how this happened."

"Yes Sir," Nathan nodded as he opened the driver door. "Mr. B?" Owen turned to look at Nathan. "Just...thank you."

"Of course," Owen nodded, "family first, Mr. Griffin."

Nathan chuckled, "Right." He got in the car and chuckled when he realized that he couldn't see Rose because of how big Zeus was. "Are you uncomfortable, Peanut? Is he too heavy?" She tightened her grip around the pit bull so he smirked, "alright, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Let's get the hell out of here." The car ride was filled with silence but Nathan knew better than to push it. He pulled up to the mansion and unbuckled her seat. "Come on, Peanut, let's go inside and get all comfy, how does that sound to you?"

Zeus jumped out of the car once Nathan walked around and opened her door. Nathan held out his hand and she bit her lip before slipping her hand into his. He smiled gently at her and wrapped his arm around her waist since she was shaking a little bit.

"Hey Cupcake, want some hot cocoa?" Luke asked as he held out a cup once Nathan led her into the living room.

"Luke, call Salem and tell him that he and the boys and Sally need to come over here. One of us can take them to a different store after they are filled in with what happened," Nathan said while taking the blanket from Gabe. "Please sit down, Peanut, and don't worry about Zeus, he's more than welcome to jump up on the couch. Kota's golden retriever Max does all the time and he is dog friendly so you don't have to worry about them fighting, okay?"

"I have instructed Mr. Griffin to tell us everything. He will do so once Miss Rose's sister, son, and his friends arrive so he only has to say it once," Owen said as he sat at his desk and pulled out his notebook and opened his pen before sitting it on top of the notebook so he was prepared to take notes once their guests have arrived.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door and Victor opened it so the four guests could enter. "Rosie," Sally gasped as she crouched down in front of her sister, "Was it that bitch at Kroger again?"

"Excuse me?" Owen asked, raising an eyebrow. "This has happened before?"

"Miss Rosie okay, Daddy?" Aurora asked, her voice full of concern as she came down the stairs. Confusion crossed her face, she wanted to be excited that Salem and his friends were at her house but she was also worried that something was wrong with Miss Rosie.

"Hey, Princess," Salem smiled seeing her. "Why don't you show us your place while your dads take care of my mom? I'm excited to see your backyard since you were telling us about your trampoline."

"Go ahead, Aurora," Axel nodded. "We will be out there as soon as we are done."

"Okay," she smiled, "come on."

"Go," Sally said looking at the three boys. "I've got this."

Each boy took a turn kissing Rose on the top of her head and gave her a brief hug before they followed the little girl up the stairs.

Nathan looked at the white pitbull now laying across the sisters and sighed. He proceeded to tell everyone what had happened since seeing her running up to the point of when Owen arrived at the store. Owen continued writing as Sally sighed in frustration. "That bitch," she gave Rose a small sheepish smile, "Sorry Sis, let me guess, blonde chick with fake boobs that are way too big for her figure and bright red lipstick like Gwen Stefani's?"

"I couldn't tell you," Nathan shrugged, "She had blonde hair but I didn't pay attention to anything else."

"Sure," Sally smirked.

"Anyway," Owen said as he continued to write, "you mean this has happened before at this store?"

Sally nodded, "yeah, a few times, that's why we quit going. It wasn't worth it." She turned to Rose, "It's okay to tell them you don't want to go somewhere, Rosie." Rose opened her mouth then shut it. "Okay, next time just sign no or write it down and they won't question it, okay?"

"Absolutely," the men nodded.

"See?" Sally smiled gently. "And now they know if they are with you not to go to that grocery store. Now, how are you feeling?" She looked her over then frowned, "Where did you get that shirt, Rosie?"

"It's mine," Nathan chuckled. "I gave it to her when we came here to get my car."

Sally nodded, "well, it looks like you are comfy, all bundled up with hot cocoa and a super soft blankie. You okay or do you want to go home?"

"Do you remember the days this has happened, per chance?" Owen asked as he continued to write in his notebook. "Or the months if you can't remember the days? And how many times has this happened?"

"Why?" Sally asked after Rose pulled the blanket up to cover her arms.

"Here," North said as he grabbed his hoodie off the back of the couch. "Arms u," he gently instructed. She raised her arms and he slid it over her. She smiled when she realized her hands were covered as he fixed the blanket. "Better?" she nodded and he smirked. "Good."

"Because I meant what I said when I said she was my client. This is completely unacceptable and I will not stand for it."

"Um, what about my claim, Mr. B?" Nathan asked nervously.

"What claim?" Sally asked.

Nathan rubbed the back of his neck. "I kind of called your sister my wife."

Sally's eyes widened while Rose covered her face with her hands, "WHAT?"
