"Boys!" Sally shouted as she stood and grabbed Rose's hand.

"Please, let me explain," Nathan stood.

"No–" Sally glared as she pointed her finger at him. "I get that you were trying to do what you thought was right but you had no right making that claim on her when you know nothing about her. You have no idea what you just did. Look, you may have some alpha male need to play rescue the damsel in distress but you won't do that to my sister. She is stronger than you give her credit for and she can easily whoop your ass if she wanted or felt the need to. Just because she has moments doesn't give you the right to say that–"

"I swear it's not that," Nathan tried to interrupt.

"Yes Ma'am?" Salem, Jackson, and Josh asked as they came down the stairs.

"Come on, we are leaving," Sally said in a tone that they knew better than to argue.

"Bye," the boys waved to Aurora and the guys then left looking at them confused.

"Fuck," Nathan sighed as he ran his hand over his face.

"No bad words, Daddy," Aurora pointed her finger at him.

"I'm sorry, Little One," Nathan said as he ran his fingers through his hair. He turned to the group and mouthed 'Sorry' but he could tell they didn't feel the need for him to say it.

Aurora went back to her playroom and Nathan sighed in frustration again. "She is just panicked and worry about Rose," Axel tried to calm him down. "Let's just give them some space and time and then we can try and explain."

"Yeah," Nathan groaned, "yeah that's probably for the best."

"Hopefully she will listen next time," Luke said softly.

Meanwhile

"So..." Salem trailed off as Sally drove back to the house.

"I think we–" Josh started to say but Sally interrupted.

"No, you will come home and keep an eye on Mom while I order pizza then take care of some things," Sally said as she pulled up to the house. "What the..." she asked when she saw a car in their driveway that she didn't recognize. She parked the car and looked at her family, "Stay in the car." She got out and frowned, "Can I help you?"

"I'm with HEB, I'm here to delivery your groceries, Ma'am," the man said as he held out his phone.

She glanced at it, "I'm sorry but there has to be some sort of mix up, I didn't order any groceries."

"You are Sally and Rose Blair?"

"Yes," Sally nodded. "But I didn't–"

"Yo, Aunt Sal," Salem said as he got out of the car. He rushed over to her and held out his phone:

Since Nathan wasn't able to take your mom grocery shopping we ordered some to be delivered while we were waiting for you to arrive to talk about what happened. I don't have your mom or aunts numbers so please let them know and if you are missing anything let me know and I'll order it. Please tell your aunt that this is a huge misunderstanding and hopefully we can talk about what happened another day. Oh, and Aurora said she can't wait to go skating with you boys this weekend–Luke

"Fucking hell," Sally rolled her eyes, "thank you, we appreciate it," she said to the man watching everything with confusion. "Our," she looked over at Salem and Rose then rolled her eyes, "friends placed an order and forgot to tell us until now."

"Oh okay, I'll just finish unloading them then, Miss," he said as he headed back to his car.

"We will help," Salem, Josh, and Jackson said as they walked over to him.

"Go inside, Rosie," Sally said as Zeus hopped out before she did. "We will be in in a few moments."

Rose nodded and headed to her art studio. She slipped her headphones on, turned on Pandora, then opened her sketchpad. Salem knocked on her door sometime later and when she didn't answer he opened it then smirked. He grabbed the phone that they use for her TikToks and started set it up to record her drawing before he slipped back out of the room knowing that she hadn't even noticed.

"She okay?" Sally asked as she hung up her phone. "I ordered pizza anyway, I know none of us feel up to cooking right now."

"She's drawing," Salem said as he leaned across the island. "So what happened?"

"That bitch at Kroger started running her mouth again," Sally rolled her eyes. "Apparently the red head had some words with her then the one in the suit showed up and freaked everyone out because he's a lawyer or something."

"Or something," Jackson chuckled. She looked at him confused and he cleared his throat, "He's Attorney General Owen Blackbourne."

"Okay?" Salem asked confused.

"Dude, he's like the state attorney general, he's the attorney for the whole freaking state, not just our county, he's like the boss of the state," Jackson chuckled. They looked at him in shock, "What? I thought about going into law a few times but my record prevents me from doing that now."

"Dude, you haven't been to jail or prison," Salem shook his head, "I bet you could still go into it if you really wanted to."

"You think?" Jackson asked.

"As long as you knock your shit off," Sally shrugged, "Why not? Anything is possible."
