She had done it. The strong resilient alien had finally been defeated.

Layontsin snarled in frustration but also in relief as the body of the skyperson collapsed in front of her, deprived of strength and power as he fell limp. Out of all the preys she had hunted, she had to give credit that this skyperson fought quite admirable even in the end. Now, it was time for Layontsin to collect this small skyperson. But now that she had the chance to get her claws on him, she had no idea what to do with him. On one hand, she could easily kill him and end his life here and now with her spear as this one clearly deserved for trying to kill her. On the second hand, she could bring the skyperson back to the Anurai clan as she had promised so they could do what was planned. On the third hand, she could at least, well, eat him to find out what skyperson flesh tasted like as she had never done so before. And on the fourth hand....keep him? No, that was absurd. There was absolutely no way that she could keep this small one with her. He was a skyperson, an alien, and an enemy to all the na'vi and nature in this world. They all must be killed, or else they would continue to destroy the land that was the home to everyone and everything.

Picking up her spear once again and twisting it so that the sharp end would be used, Layontsin approached the skyperson slowly. She made sure that it was not moving so that she would soon pierce it's chest. One swift move, and Layontsin could end the life of the alien as it was already unconscious. Slowly and carefully she towered over the body and prepared to plunge the spear down when she suddenly stopped, head quills twitching as she sensed something. The anthro thanator twisted around in the direction where she sensed something and then looked up. From where she stood, Layontsin could see small atokirina, or woodsprites, slowly floating down from the air and towards her.

Layontsin was taught by the na'vi that these small beings were seeds from the Tree of Souls, considered bearers of omens and signs of sanctity that roamed all the forest. In some times, these woodsprites would go around and swarm a particular being as a message or sign of Eywa. It happened to Layontsin one time in her life, when she was a youngling and the na'vi look her in as one of their own. And she heard rumors that these were also the ones that chose the skyperson that turned na'vi, JakeSully, to become one of the people. And now, they have appeared before the anthro thanator.

The small and delicate woodsprites slowly descended to her, perching themselves on her shoulders and head. And then something surprising happened; the rest of the seeds that floated down moved down to the ground...and placed themselves all over the fallen body of the alien. The seeds of the Tree of Souls, the messengers of Eywa...have placed themselves on this skyperson! How could this be? Why this creature specifically? The simple sight of the seeds just perching themselves on the unconscious body of the skyperson just baffled Layontsin completely. She didn't understand why they have gone all the way here to give this sort of message. But now that things were clear and that this was a sign, Layontsin lowered her spear.

Layontsin didn't like this, not one bit. This was a skyperson, an alien, that was the enemy of the forest. He deserved to die in the hands of her, other na'vi, or predator that would eat him up for food. Yet the woodsprites have come down and placed themselves on both Layontsin and the skyperson like a sign that meant something important. And she couldn't deny what she had been taught, what she had seen and what she has heard of these types of signs. Still...it made it difficult for her to accept this due to him being an alien. She could kill him for all she cared, but then she remembered the second option about bringing the skyperson back to the clan. Killing him and bringing him back while hiding the truth would surely not feel right to her. So she desisted her initial attempts to kill him and lowered her spear, moving her weapon to strap it on her back and then kneeling down to the skyperson.

Now the woodsprites began to slowly float away as Layontsin approached the unconscious body, which laid there unmoving. To make sure that he didn't escape while she carried him back to the camp, Layontsin went to find some vines so that she could strap them around his hands and legs. This was done to ensure that the skyperson wouldn't try to escape her or do something stupid while they traveled. Once the vines were expertly strapped thanks to her four hands, the anthro thanator hoisted the unconscious alien up and carried him over her shoulder. He was incredibly light, Layontsin expecting skypeople to be less heavy than na'vi, but that was probably because he was a tad smaller than the rest of his kind. Having done that, Layontsin orientated herself to locate the direction that would lead her back to the Anurai camp before starting to walk

"What am I doing?" Layontsin growled to herself as she continued to walk.

It took her the remainder of the day to finally arrive at the camp, night falling and the forest giving its light at the time that the anthro thanator came home. From where she was, she could hear the na'vi speaking as they enjoyed their meals while others sang traditional tunes. This made her smile a bit, but she knew that what she was bringing will soon shock the na'vi tribe members. And that included the leader of the clan and the spiritual leader, the tsahik, when she explained to them what has happened.

Soon the anthro thanator revealed themselves as she came out from the forest and into the camp, the na'vi noticing her arrive and smiling as they slowly approached and surrounded her. Though they soon began to worry and had surprised looks as they noticed what she was carrying on her shoulder. Some moved their children away or behind them while other gave out hisses of disgust as they watched Layontsin carry the unconscious skyperson into the camp. She knew what they were thinking; What is a skyperson doing in our midsts? What if it is dangerous and it is left to live? And so on and so fourth. She hesitated for a moment before continuing walking to the center of the camp, where the clan leader and the tsahik were.

The two of them turned around when they sensed the commotion approaching their way, and then they acknowledged Layontsin. The eyes of the clan leader narrowed as they saw what the anthro thanator was carrying, same as the rest of the na'vi clan. "Layontsin...you have done well by keeping your promise of capturing the skyperson. But...why bring this creature here in our midsts?" The clan leader asked Layontsin. "I did what you asked, and I was about to kill him as he tried to kill me, but...Eywa sent a sign with the atokirina" she responded with respect, making some of the na'vi around them gasp. "I have made it clear that no demon shall set foot in this land" the clan leader said, tail lashing. But the tsahik placed a hand against the clan leader to stop him from lashing out. "You...saw a sign of Eywa?" The tsahik asked, listening to what Layontsin had said earlier. "Yes, my mother, I have. Clear as the day" Layontsin said. This caused the tsahik to move closer to her and examine the unconscious skyperson that the anthro thanator has captured.

"Very well. We shall see if Eywa has really given a sign to this skyperson. Let us wait until they wake up, and then find it's true motives to come here" the tsahik said after some thought. Layontsin nodded and went to carry the skyperson to a nearby place, gently setting it down on the ground. Afterwards she went with the leaders of the clan so they could discuss what has happened, while the skyperson was guarded by two warriors.

Whatever happened next, Layontsin hoped it would be good.
