Over the past few days, Layontsin felt more anxious than ever.

The anthro thanator didn't know what it was exactly that she was worrying about, or who precisely. In the few visits that the Anurai clan was being given by the skypeople group, things have been very different. When those came to the camp of the clan, the na'vi were more and more at ease with the visitors. Sure, there were some that expressed their dislike to the guests that were allowed to enter the village with no problem, but the majority seemed quite calm. It's more, they actually liked their presence each time they came over during the visits. Layontsin was one of them as she was stuck with the skyperson Asim. At first she thought that it was going to be a problem teaching the small but capable skyperson the na'vi tongue, to the point that they would immediately quit. However, that didn't happen as Layontsin expected. Instead, Asim was patient and eager to learn despite his limited knowledge of speaking the language. Of course, he got frustrated when he didn't get one word with the accent right and Layontsin corrected him even with some physical reprimanding. On the contrary, he persisted in learning until he got it right and understood what every word and phrase meant. And this impressed and interested Layontsin very much, the good attitude that this skyperson had in contrast to his kind.

To add on, Asim unexpectedly offered Layontsin to learn his language, to which she accepted. From those moments on, Layontsin has been at ease with Asim. One time he taught her the proper name of his species, which went like "huuman" or something. Layontsin was surprised that the skypeople were capable of naming themselves, which also gave her curiosity as to why the skypeople haven't named the na'vi any other name like "blue-skins" or "tall-people". From what she understood, Asim said that it was a show of respect from the part of the skypeople that valued the true identity of the people, enough to call them by their proper name. And that calling them other names that remarked their characteristics was considered absurd and even disrespectful, a sort of taboo that the good skypeople had to refrain themselves from overlooking. Though, Asim told that she and the na'vi didn't really have to change the name they have chosen for the "huumans". In fact, for him, it seemed quite alright and accurate since his kind did originate from the sky, from beyond the stars. Everything that Asim taught Layontsin about his home and his behavior to the na'vi made her curious, making her realize that he and his friends were completely different from the evil skypeople.

And that reason made Layontsin even more curious, to the point that she wanted to see him more often.

On this day, she was pacing across the forest floor in a more different manner. She tried to shake her worry about Asim and the good skypeople that accompanied him every time they visited the clan, about when they would come. They would come when they choose, as she knew that they would eventually, but for some reason she was worrying about the subject more than usual. Layontsin, in al honesty, was worried about what would happen to them while they were in their small metal village or going on foot towards the clan. Of course, they had their metal beast and their weapons to aid them. And on top of that, Asim and his friends were more than capable to handle the most dangerous creatures of the forest, as she had witnessed them perform. However, she was worried about the larger dangers and even the small but lethal ones that posed a threat to skypeople. Like some plants that contained poison or insects with the same type of defense, including the ones used for the dream hunt rituals.

All that worry made her mind slip from reality for a moment before she snapped back into the world.

A na'vi hunter of the clan came barreling out from the foliage and to Layontsin, who almost reacted by pulling her spear out ready to attack with teeth bared. The na'vi hunter panted and tried to catch their breath, looking like they have been running for a while to find her. "Brother? What is happening?" Layontsin asked as she put her spear away and approaching the hunter. "Come quickly! The clan leader and the tsahik are about to meet up with the Ash clan leaders" the hunter said to her. Hearing the name of the clan made the anthro thanator tense up. She knew that this was one of the few na'vi clans that didn't mix well with the other tribes, and she has heard and seen what made the Ash clan a feared one. Their customs were like the rest of the na'vi clans, but they were also extreme and dark with other things like rituals that she found disturbing. It was no wonder why some of the clans despised this group of na'vi that inhabited the proximity of the nearest volcano. And the Anurai clan was not the exception as they were closest neighbors to this particular clan. "Alright. Let's go." Layontsin said to the hunter after getting her bearings straight and going back with them to the clan as quickly as possible.
