The prototype that Asim's team were talking about was a new model chopper when they got to the camouflaged hangar.

Or, what was mostly of it as the craft didn't have the weapons installed yet and had the prototype colors changed. Even so, the craft looked all complete and ready to go. Everyone boarded the chopper, Emeralda being the main pilot and Kentaro the copilot. Mikhail sat in one side of the door to serve as shooter, Shaka doing the same on the other side of the chopper, while Asim sat on the other side of the color cabin as he served as watcher for his teammates. "Alright everyone, hang on tight to something. We still haven't toned out the controls on this thing yet, but I'll try my best to not crash us into the ground" Emeralda said on the radio as the craft began to power up. The blades of the twin rotors outside began to spin faster as the engine hummed to life. In no time they lifted from the ground just a couple inches before the chopper moved forwards to exit the camouflaged hangar and flew out. Once outside, Emeralda and Kentaro piloted the chopper down from the mountain the group's outpost was and to the forest. They kept low above the tree foliage in order to continue onwards as a way to stay undetected.

"Sweet ride you guys have obtained. Where did you guys get it?" Asim said on the radio on his earpiece as the wind flew past him and his friends in the passenger deck. "We found it on another abandoned facility far from here. It was one of the only ones that was almost complete and only needed the final parts. We did the best we could, and now we can go almost anywhere" Kentaro said in response from where he was in the radio. "Outstanding. On the way back, you guys should really tell me what else you guys have been up to so I know." Asim said, making everyone chuckle. "Oh, we will. If we also manage to get some surviving vodka from Hell's Gate. I really miss it" Mikhail joked, making everyone laugh. Asim enjoyed that his friends were now happy to be with him once more, and that now they were back together on a mission of their own. They continued to chat while the chopper carried them over the forest and towards Hell's Gate as the sun reached midday.

The trip to the base didn't take much than an hour as they were in an aerial vehicle, though they did not go directly to the base. Instead, they landed a mile away from the base so that they wouldn't be spotted. Once they landed, they got off and began their approach towards Hell's Gate through the forest that surrounded the base, keeping a low profile. Once in close proximity to the perimeter border, Asim radioed each of his teammates for them to begin heading to their positions. Shaka was seen heading off in the cover of the foliage towards the main generator. Emeralda moved to an area where she could see everything from above with some binoculars, and where she would reach the chopper and get it ready if they had to make a run for it. Mikhail was hidden near where Asim and Kentaro would wait until the signal started. "Okay, Shaka. Do your thing. And make sure no one is around there" Asim radioed his friend. "Copy" his friend said on the radio as Asim and Kentaro watched from behind the bushes how Shaka made his way to the other side.

Meanwhile Emeralda watched from her post how Shaka advanced, warning him if any guards were present in his path. "For such a well guarded base, the ones that chose to stay really seem to think that no one's going to break in." Emeralda mused in the radio. "Let's not take it for granted. Shaka, how are you doing?" Asim radioed as he saw his friend reach the generators and be situated behind one of them. "I'm breaking into the mainframe...now. I'll give you the signal and you two head for the southwest gate doors. If you run at full speed, you will be able to reach the doors of the hangars before the system is reset." Shaka's voice was heard on the radio. Kentaro pulled up one of his sleeves and revealed a stopwatch, pressing the marker buttons until the timer showed thirty minutes. He looked back at Asim and nodded, ready to start the counter as they waited for Shaka's signal. "Shutting down the grid momentarily in three...two...one!" Shaka's voice counted down before they heard the electric systems of the southwest gate power down. The lights went off and the cameras that were in the vicinity also shut down. Wasting no time, Asim and Kentaro burst out from the bushes and ran at the gate taht has opened as quickly as they could. Once there they hurried pushing the heavy doors open to fit in and get through. On the other side, they rushed across the large flat concrete floor that was the landing area for cargo ships at full speed.

Some seconds later they reached the door that would lead inside one of the hangars, both Asim and Kentaro reaching for the handle and pulling it. Air hissed out and the two entered before quickly closing it shut for the air section to be filled with oxygen for Kentaro. "System going back online in a few seconds. Hurry." Shaka's voice said in the radio as the two waited for the light to turn green. Once it did, the two opened the second door quickly and entered the hangar before closing the door and running behind some equipment. "System back online" Shaka said on the radio as the lights in the building switched back on. Asim and Kentaro looked around for any trace of cameras, spotting them not above them but further to the other end of the building. They kept silent for some moments, listening for any sign of personnel currently inside of the hangar building, before they exhaled and in exhaustion and relief.

"We're in" Kentaro said on the radio as they catched their breaths. "Good to hear. Go and hurry up before time runs out and those in the base start suspecting." Shaka said in the radio. "Understood" Asim said as he and Kentaro finished recovering, standing back up again and starting to search the hangar. For starters, the hangar was filled with basically all the vehicles and equipment to maintain them, as well as some leftover ammunition. "Its not here. We should check on the supply storage." Kentaro said after a while when they searched the whole area. Asim nodded and the two went to the door that would lead them there. Both approached by hunkering down low and stationing themselves on both sides of the door. They listened for any type of noise that would tell them that there were people or a solitary personnel inside of the room. To make sure, Asim moved up to peek into the room through the door window, making sure that he wasn't seen while he peered inside. He also waited a moment to see if anyone else would have been there so they wouldn't be caught by surprise, and to avoid confrontation.

"Clear" Asim said, and Kentaro nodded as Asim reached for the handle and opened the door for both to step inside.
