When everything returned to normal, Layontsin felt herself surrounded by cold air.

This cold air spread across her body like cold water, numbing her senses. Then she regained consciousness once again and started to get up. Right after she felt the ground below her be made out of a thin and hollow metal, and she was right once she opened her eyes. The anthro thanator slowly looked up and scanned her surroundings, finding herself in what looked like a dark skyperson place. It definitely seemed like a skyperson place, filled with things only she watched the aliens carry around or be near. And, of course, there were some skypeople in this place. However, these looked different from the rest. They wore a sort of white cloak that covered their bodies from shoulders to halfway their legs, and they went around the place chatting with each other or giving what was similar to commands. Once fully up and with bearings straight again, Layontsin began to explore the place out of curiosity...and in hopes of getting out of this memory. But then she remembered Asim, and immediately switched to search for him.

She went around the dark skypeople place, which was lit up by some lights that were used to indicate elevated metal pathways or areas where some skypeople were working and walking along. Sounds that she didn't recognize at all filled the place, and some areas hissed steams of white clouds that made her jump or walls that lit up with small intense lights. In other areas, she saw some of the skypeople working on some complex contraption that was confusing for Layontsin to make out. Another one was peering at some large cylindrical objects organized in a straight line. The tube was filled with a clear liquid that bubbled slightly, and inside of it was something that made her gasp. There, inside of the liquid...was a na'vi child. It was suspended in the liquid, floating inside the tube as it was curled up and looking as if it was dormant. A weird red vine-looking thing was attached to its stomach, with other smaller white ones attached to some of its limbs. Layontsin was in shock as she saw all of this, her mind brimming with questions. 'Was this how skypeople...created the false na'vi? The dreamwalkers she occasionally saw some time ago? Did the skypeople have the power to make beings like them and use them? And others as well?'. Layontsin was so busy watching the other tubes, that contained more mature ones, that she almost missed the mention of Asim's full name by another skyperson.

Her quills and crest plates quivered when she sensed two of them approaching, and she turned around. She recognized one of them, the one who said that Asim had to be taken despite him being injured. The skyperson, now with the same white coat that everyone here wore, was accompanied with another one. They were chatting about something, the main one saying Asim's name gaining Layontsin's attention and making her follow them from behind. "Asim Angus...the youngest of them all...they will make the greatest addition to our super soldier plan..." the main one said as the two skypersons walked along the metal platform paths. "Will he survive? The 'genetic enhancements(an unknown skyperson word?)' will be too much for him to bear." The other one said, sounding worried. "He will live. In fact...he will be the greatest soldier to have been ever produced..." the main one said as they walked to a solitary transparent tube. This one had a green liquid instead of a clear one, and it's contents couldn't be easily seen from afar. "Here he is" the main skyperson said, walking over to the large transparent tube.

Layontsin went over to the large tube in hopes of seeing Asim, as she realized that the skypeople were talking about him being inside this thing. However, the only saw a small shape that could barely be made out as the two skypeople were blocking the view. Whatever they saw, the other one nodded in approval. "Very well then" they said and the two started to leave the area. "There are others like him out there. We must not waste another minute and find them" the main one said before the two left. Once they did, Layontsin moved closer to the tube filled with green liquid to inspect it more closely. There...she saw Asim, all battered up and still with injuries, but was now recovering. Some white vines were attached to his arms and legs, while a large slender tube and a covering were latched onto his mouth. A pang of pity pierced Layontsin's chest as she saw him like this, reaching to touch the smooth surface of the encasement with one of her hands. When she did that, Asim's body suddenly twitched a bit as if she had disturbed him and made her flinch a bit. When his small hand reached to contact Layontsin's, she was wondering if she felt him through what surrounded him.

The he opened his eyes, and she saw that the irises of his eyes were glowing red.

Layontsin gasped as she removed her hand away from the encasement that held Asim inside, shivering in nervousness as she contemplated him. Before she could back away, the platform where she stood and the place she was in began to shake. It was another earthquake again, Layontsin felt, and then everything started to tremble uncontrollably before her surroundings collapsed. Once again she fell down as the platform broke apart and collapsed. However, this time, instead of being surrounded by darknesses, she saw herself begin to fall down the open sky. Except this wasn't the outside of before, the outside of the skypeople world that she remembered. Instead, she saw the sky was murky with brown and white clouds. Layontsin was trying to get her bearings straight when she realized she was falling towards the ground that was brown and dark in color. She yelped in fright as she saw the ground rush up to her, covering herself to brace for the fall that might end up breaking all her bones. Except...she felt like landing as if she fell down from a short height when she didn't sleep securely.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself in the middle of a battle.

Faraway explosions burst all around her as she gasped and got up quickly to survey her surroundings. Skypeople in armor began to come out from the smoke behind her, carrying weapons as the explosions did not desist. They all came to stop by some holes on the ground to hide as the explosions continued more closer to them. The sound of their weapons were now heard all around them. Layontsin went to hide in another trench like them in order to hear what was happening. At least, to try understand them if she could get a hint of something as it was still a memory. "Where is our support? They should be here by now!" One skyperson said. "I don't know! Something must have happened to them!" The other one replied as they took cover when an explosion landed nearby. The fighting began to intensify on the other side, and the majority of the skypeople moved up from where they hid to start using their weapons. However, before they could use their weapons more, a more deeper droning noise was heard coming from the sky. Everyone looked up just in time to see a larger flying metal creature descending from the fog and smoke. The doors opened up as a few skypeople began to drop and lower from black ropes to descend to the ground. One of them, however, didn't use a rope as they jumped down and landed on the ground hard. This one was different from the rest, the armor being black and face covered completely with a sort of protection like Layontsin remembered.

When they looked up, their eyes shone red from behind the dark glass-like covering.
