New book, new drama...
When everyone is finally lying on the mattresses under their blankets, there is simply no peace. There is giggling and quiet talking everywhere.
But after Kimi's words of power, it is quiet. No one wants to see a overly tired and annoyed Kimi.
After a while Mick whispers, "I think someone's crying." Growls the Finn, "Max, go to Charles." The Dutchman gets up and stumbles over to number 16 and settles down beside him. Charles wraps an arm around the older one and pulls him down. "Bonne nuit Amour." He mumbles and Max snuggles up to the Ferrari driver with a happy sigh.
"It didn't stop." Mick murmurs contritely. "My God, it's not that hard. Alex go to your father, the rest cuddle up to friends, boyfriends or fathers." Kimi growls indignantly.
Shortly afterwards, someone drops down on top of him. With a worried sigh, Kimi puts his arms around Seb and turns so that it is more comfortable. He waits until everyone is asleep, but especially until his favourite person is fast asleep in his arms. Only then does he close his eyes.
After a little more than 2 hours, he wakes up again. Seb is shaking in his arms and Kimi cannot calm him down.
"Shh, hey Seb, what's up?" He asks quietly, but the German only turns away and clutches a pillow. "Now that hurts me. You're just going to replace me with a pillow?" Kimi tries another way, but it's no use.
He hugs the younger man from behind and tries to get through the German's thoughts. But there's no chance.
Kimi knows that he has to jump over his shadow to help Seb. He has to fight his biggest fear to help him.
"Seb please stop crying, it breaks my heart. Do you know that I came back to Formula One because of you? I knew I couldn't leave you alone. Because by then it was too late. I let you into my heart. And that's my biggest fear. My heart was broken so ugly by my parents, friends and at that time every person I trusted that it never healed. But then suddenly you were there. You always smiled, no matter how bad it was, what happened to you. Do you see the stars? So many smiles you brought out. And into so many pieces my heart was shattered."
Seb doesn't stir and listens carefully. "And do you see the many stars that are connected like? Those are the pieces you put back together. Because you are important to me. More important than any other person on this planet." Kimi whispers and Seb turns to the older man.
"I just smiled because I knew everything was better with you." The German whispers brokenly.
Seb snuggles up to Kimi again and takes a deep breath before closing his eyes. "I would do anything to make you feel good. Even if it was the last thing I would do. Rakastan sinua, kulta! " He hears softly before drifting off to Kimiland and sleep. [I love you Honey!]
Later, Kevin wakes up from a nightmare. Automatically, Nico wakes up too. Hulk wearily runs his hand over his eyes and murmurs, "Come here.
Kevin gets up and carefully moves to his teammate. He sits down between Hulk's legs and snuggles against the other's strong chest.
"Once upon a time there was a little boy. The boy was very lonly. He searched for a home. On his journey he makes new friends..." Nico starts to tell the story. One by one he tells the story of the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse.

Even though Kevin is already asleep halfway through, Nico continues. Danny listens intently and Max also listens. Neither of them can sleep and so they calm down.
The two give no sign that they are awake, but Hulk knows anyway. When he has finished telling the story, they are all asleep again and he closes his eyes.
In the back of his mind he keeps a quote from the book "Sometimes I fear you realise I am ordinary," the boy said. "You don't have to be extraordinary to be loved," said the mole.
A quote that many of the drivers don't really carry out. They always want to be better, always want to achieve something and always want to succeed. But true success is to love. Not to hold some metal in your fingers.
"We can still learn a lot from that book..." Nico whispers before going to sleep.
