CHAPTER 39 || The End of Mini Seb

The drivers all meet for breakfast. At Mika's. When they get there, Michael, Nando and Kimi are already there. They don't know why, but of course they don't mind.

When everyone is seated except Kimi, who has to fetch more baguettes and eggs, little Seb comes in. He is the only one who is still a child and misses his playmates. When Kimi isn't there either, he hangs his head sadly so that his blond curls bob.

Michael tries to comfort him and Mick makes Seb a cup of cocoa. Mika assures the youngest that Kimi will be back soon and with the cup between his paws, Seb is at least no longer quite so sad.

When he puts the cup down again and Mick squats down to clean up the cocoa beard, the little boy resists and protests, "I can do it myself Mickey!" The latter hands him the kitchen towel and sure enough, Seb does it all by himself. Impressed, even tho a little played, Mick looks at him and holds out his hand for a high-five. Giggling, Seb takes it.

Only now do the others notice what he is wearing. It's a Ferrari hoodie of Kimi. Of course, the little one sinks into this huge hoodie, but the picture he makes is too adorable!

Mika puts the hood on him, which Seb has to push up again immediately to see anything at all, but under the hood mischievous flashing blue children's eyes full of happiness and joy blink at the rest.

When you hear the front door, even the smallest German knows immediately that Kimi is back. He happily jumps up and down while waiting for the introverted Finn, who puts down the bag of pastries for a moment and then bend down.

For Seb, this means that Kimi now has time for him. As long, as Seb wants to play, Kimi does so. Only when the young boy doesn't want to play anymore, Kimi stops and concentrats on other things. Beaming, Seb runs to the older man who receives him with a smile. Dramatically, Kimi falls backwards while Seb laughs happily.

Kimi lies on his back and Seb lies on top of him in an embrace, while the bright laughter of children resounds throughout the house.

Kimi starts to tickle Seb, so he starts to fight back, which doesn't stop Kimi. Seb quickly frees himself from him and runs around the table. Kimi follows him and chases him around the kitchen table again and again until he catches him and picks him up before he briefly throws Seb up a little bit and catches him again safely and turns in a circle several times before he finally stops.

Seb just giggles happily as Kimi sits down with him on his lap. The little German has him wrapped around his finger. But you can only love a 5-year-old Sebastian Vettel.

After breakfast they all go out together. As there is snow and it is very deep, Seb sits on Kimi's shoulders. He had a hard time in the almost 50 cm deep snow.

He reaches up and as snow falls from the branches onto him, he is so confused that Kimi has to laugh. But Seb quickly comes to terms with it and shakes himself once before waiting for his first victim.

As Nando goes under a tree, he pulls on a branch and Kimi quickly jumps to the side, which is why the load of cold wet only hits the Spaniard. He starts swearing and runs to Mark in a huff. But even Fernando can't be angry with little Seb and soon gives him a smile.

When there's a cut in the snow, Kimi puts Seb on the ground and he runs enthusiastically through the snow. Laughing, he turns to Kimi, the Finn smiles at him encouragingly and Seb turns a corner.

By the time the rest are there too, Seb is 36 again. Kimi is slightly disappointed but grins at him in amusement. Seb grins mischievously back.

As they walk along, Kimi puts his arm around Seb's waist and Seb rests his head on the older man's shoulder while they watch the kids and make sure they don't get lost in the snow.
