Seb is about to throw a vase against the wall with all his might when the door bursts open and Kimi rushes in. The Finn looks around briefly in panic before spotting Seb.
"Seb, please put the vase aside, I don't want you to hurt yourself." He says gently and Seb stares at him. Kimi. His Kimi.
His Kimi who always tended to the wounds. His Kimi, who has always given him comfort. His Kimi, who accepts him as he is. His Kimi, who is always there for him. His Kimi, who is his reason to hold on and his Kimi, whom he loves.
He puts the vase aside. For his Kimi.
Kimi moves cautiously towards Seb. He loses his strength after putting the vase aside and collapses. Before he touches the ground, Kimi catches the crying man. Sebby. His Sebby.
His Sebby, who always makes him smile. His Sebby, who he can never be angry with. His Sebby who always worries about him. His Sebby, who always pushes him. His Sebby, who is his reason to hold on and his Sebby, whom he loves.
The Finn simply holds the younger one in his arms. He doesn't have to say anything. He doesn't have to comfort. He certainly doesn't have to lie. Because his Sebby understands him without words.
The German lies crying in the arms of the older one. He doesn't have to say anything. He does not have to justify himself. He certainly doesn't have to lie. Because his Kimi understands him without words.
At some point the crying stops. Neither of them moves. They wait for the other to do something. "You came." Whispers Seb at some point. "You called." Replies Kimi at the same volume.
Still no one moves. Kimi hopes that Seb will stay in his arms longer and Seb hopes that Kimi will hold him longer.
But then Seb remembers the overnight stay with Lewis. Kimi had whispered something in his ear just before he fell asleep.
"Is it true?" Seb asked with a pounding heart and Kimi looked at him questioningly. "Do you love me?" He asks more precisely.
Kimi freezes and Seb is about to say something because he misinterprets it when Kimi says. "Yes." Seb stares at him and Kimi says again, "Yes." Before he continues, "Do you love me?"
"Yes. Yes I do love you." Seb answers after a second of shock.
Kimi starts to smile and gives Seb a kiss on the forehead before kissing him properly. When they break away Seb blinks and mumbles "I still have to clean up here." Shaking her head, Kimi stands up with Seb in her arms and mumbles "Nah, nah, nah, you come with me to my hotel room. We'll take care of the rest later."
When they get to Kimi's hotel room, everything is fine again. Kimi knows the reason for Seb's mental breakdown without Seb having to say anything. Because they are inseparable.
As they lie in bed, Kimi smiles happily. Because his Sebby is in his arms. And his Sebby is now really his Sebby.
The last thing Seb thinks before he falls asleep from exhaustion is that everything will be all right now that his Kimi is with him.
That's where the two of them lie now. The other is the reason to hold on and neither is willing to let the other go. Not even out of bed. Not now that they have found each other completely.
