The dawn of a new day bathed Zane and Elena's world in a soft, golden glow. Their love had weathered storms and danced through starlit nights, and now it stood as strong and enduring as ever. They knew they were meant to be, and today, Zane had a special plan.
He woke up early, leaving a gentle kiss on Elena's forehead before quietly slipping out of bed. The sun was just beginning to rise as he made his way to the kitchen. Zane had always been a skilled cook, and today, he intended to create a breakfast masterpiece.
With skillful hands, he whipped up a delicious feast of pancakes, fresh fruit, and scrambled eggs. The aroma of coffee filled the air as he carefully arranged everything on a tray, complete with a single red rose.
Zane returned to their bedroom, where Elena was still peacefully asleep. He set the tray down on a nearby table and crawled back into bed, gently waking her with a kiss.
Elena's eyes fluttered open, and her lips curled into a sleepy smile as she saw Zane's loving gaze. "Good morning."
"Good morning, my love," Zane whispered, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I have a special surprise for you."
Elena's curiosity piqued as Zane presented the tray with breakfast. She couldn't help but gasp at the beautiful spread he had prepared. "Zane, this is amazing!"
He chuckled softly. "I wanted to start our day with something special."
They enjoyed their breakfast together, savoring each bite as they chatted about their dreams and plans for the future. Zane had always been a romantic, and he couldn't help but let his feelings pour out.
"Elena," he began, taking her hand in his, "these past months have been the most incredible journey of my life. You've brought love and joy into every moment, and I can't imagine my life without you."
Elena's heart swelled with emotion, her eyes brimming with tears of happiness. "Zane, you've filled my life with love and laughter. I can't imagine a future without you either."
Zane smiled, his eyes filled with unwavering devotion. "Elena, I promise to love and cherish you for all the days of our lives. I promise to stand by your side through every challenge and every triumph. Will you marry me?"
Elena's heart soared as she nodded, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks. "Yes, Zane, a thousand times, yes!"
Zane slipped a beautiful diamond engagement ring onto Elena's finger, sealing their promise of love and commitment. They kissed passionately, their souls entwined in the sweetest of promises.
As they held each other, lost in the bliss of their love, Zane whispered, "I can't wait to spend forever with you."
And Elena replied with all the love in her heart, "Forever sounds perfect."
