Cassandra's POV

"Surprise!!" I heard everyone yell once I turned on the light.
I was shocked I didn't know how to respond.
"At least we know Paul can keep a secret." I heard the familiar voice of my best friend call.
"Embry!!" I yelled and hugged him. Then I heard a low growl from behind me and embry let me go.
I looked over my shoulder and saw Paul. Did he growl? I looked at him with a questioning glance.
He tilted his head as to tell me to go out side. I held up one finger. I wanted to say hi to my dad first. He nodded and moved toward Sam Uley smiling at me. That's weird. But I smiled back.
I found my dad and hugged him hello.
"I missed you" he said.
"I missed you to dad. "
Then I felt arms around me locking may arms down. Only one person did this to me ever. And that was my brother.
"Hi...Jake.. Can't breath. "I said.
"Sorry" he said and let go.
"It's okay. "
He smiled.
"I missed you. " He said
"I missed you to bro. " He smiled when I said that.
I said hi to a few more people then caught Paul's eye again and signaled to go outside. He nodded and we made our way out there.
"So what's up?" I asked.
"Um I don't really know how to say it and you'll probably turn me down--" he rambled.
"Paul cut to the chase. " I said.
"Can I take you out.. On a date??" He asked.
I was shocked.
"Paul you've bullied me for a while now why this sudden change?"
"I want to make it up to you."
I stood there for a few minutes thinking.
"Okay. " I said.
"Okay?"
"Okay you can take me on a date."
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah."
He smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"Can't.. Breath." I said.
"Sorry." He said and let me go.
"It's okay." I smiled.
