Chapter 14

Paul's POV

Cassandra's been unconscious for over an hour.
The vamp. doctor said she'd be fine but I don't trust leaches.

I can't even believe she jumped off that cliff. It's way to high up for her.
We can only do it because we are part wolf. We have the strength to push through the crashing waves.

"She'll be fine, she just needs her rest." The doc said coming out of her room.

"Thank you" Jacob said. He nodded and left.

I looked over at Jake asking the silent question: can I go see here?
He nodded and I bolted into her room.

I pulled out Cassandra's desk chair and sat it next to her bed.

"Please wake up soon" I pleaded while grabbing her hand.

After sitting there for a few hours I eventually fell asleep.

I woke up to someone shaking me.

"Paul?" Came that angelic voice I can't get enough of. "Paul."

My eyes snapped open to see the beautiful brown eyes of my imprint.

"Paul how did I get here?" She asked.

"I saw you jump so I jumped in after you and pulled you out, I brought you here and they called the doctor."

" thank you" she smiled.

"I would do anything for you Cassandra."

Then she did the last thing I would have expected her to do.

She leaned forward and kissed me.

I wasted no time pulling her up and closer to me while wrapping my arms around her waist.
Her arms found their way around my neck pulling her closer to me if it was even possible.

She pulled away shortly after needing to breath.
I rested my forehead against hers.

"Be mine." I said.

"I'm yours as long as your mine." She responded.

"I'm yours."

"Then I'm yours."
